On the back of the cereal boxes, it's the new digital Yoda, with Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, maybe George changed Yoda for this DVD release! God let this be true!!!!

To me, that Yoda does look a little younger than AOTC/ROTS Yoda... I hope it's not just wishful thinking...

Good catch. It would be a smart thing to do, but just for the PT, leave OT Yoda alone.

I'd forgotten about the boxes. I had the cans for a number of years, finally got rid of them.

This is what Pablo from the OS said about the TPM DVD re-release:

The disc was out of print, having sold through its initial runs. Unlike other catalog titles, Lucasfilm does not continually print copies but instead produces a set amount and sells through them. It is coming back to shelves, as well as will be available through some specific Episode III promotions; it's the same content as before.

Yah they also said the original TPM DVD was the exact theatrical version with no extra footage. Lucasfilm lies.

It doesn't make sense that they would make changes to the existing DVDs, and not tell anyone about them. It isn't like they're releasing the DVDs for the first time and not telling people about the changes - these are just re-issues of the same DVDs. No, I'm 99.9% sure that these are exactly the same as the 2001 editions.

Let's face it, if another edition was being released, Lucasfilm would want to make as much money from it was they could - it'd be well publicised.
