Buff, NY Travelling Luke

There is a travelling Luke currentlymaking his way across the country. While it's not hte most direct line, he will be able to see a good part of the country. His next stop is Tuscon, AZ, then he'll pack up and head to Buffalo.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. We should get together and get a picture or two for his blog while he's here.

Luke arrived in Tuscon, AZ. After a visit, he'll be on his way to Buffalo.

I hope to participate when he arrives. I missed visiting with Vader.

 

Luke was packing today and should be on his way tomorrow...

 

Oh, Luke! Where are you, Luke?

 

I helped Luke unpack today, but right now, he's snoring away n his sleeping bag on my dining room table.

Other groups have all sent Luke packing with different tokens. There's a hat and scarf, poncho, sleeping bag, and a passport inthe box. If anyone has any ideas what to include, I'm open to ideas.

I dunno if anyone has like a Fisher Price or one of those plastic toy sets with mock-ups of food, but we had a toy plastic chicken wing I think that'd be kinda cool.

Or a second right hand.

 

I like the chicken wing idea, or something from the Sabres maybe?

 

I have a mini home made stanley cup with the Sabres logo on it. Could bring that for pic's.

 

How about taking the picture of Luke with all of us at the R2 mailbox?

 

That sounds like a great idea to me.

 

Anything you can think to add to his suitcase would be great. Bring your items to the meeting. We have to send him on his way next week.

Backpacker Luke traveled around the USA and Canada from October 2006 to July 2007 visiting different fan forces and even attending Celebration 4. Luke is going to be raffled off and the proceeds will go to Make-a-Wish in memory of Katie Johnson. The donation will be made by FanForce.net.

Tickets are going to be sold as follows:

$5 - 7 tickets
$10 - 15 tickets
$15 - 25 tickets
$20 - 30 tickets
$25 - 40 tickets
$50 - 100 tickets

Payments are going to be accepted through PayPal using the charlottefanforce@yahoo.com email. Each donor will receive an email confirmation with their numbers. The deadline for payments is November 1st.
