Star Wars Treasures of the Past [Closed SW RP]

Hal stopped after he heard the guard shout and point his way. There was no way he was going to escape that way with the guards watching him. He had to escape though, so he looked around looking for another way out. The door behind the Wyyyschnock was still blocked, if by only a few people now. There were likely guards that would try and stop him if he went out that way, but he may be forced to go that way if another option didn't present itself. Slowly, he moved back towards that door with the crowd, making sure to stay low and avoid any shots. If I'm lucky, that Wyyyschnock and others will keep the guards distracted long enough, he thought.

The Wyyyschnock was struck by the little dart, but didn't react in any way, it often took a few seconds for it to take effect. Dew's shot was true, but the spider saw it coming and nimbly dodged out of the way, only having to move it's legs slightly. The shot traveled beyond the creature and struck the group of people still escaping through the door, knocking a few to the floor. At least one didn't get back up again. Dew's shot wasn't the only one traveling toward the Wyyyschnock though, the guards were firing at if more now and it couldn't dodge everything. Several stun shots hit the spider, one right on the body (11 stun dmg.). The spider stumbled a little bit after being hit by that many, but it really needed to do something now so it leaped. The leap took the creature completely over the pit and toward the guards. However, the leap was almost completely unsuccessful except for putting it near the guards. Without even trying, none of the guards were hit by the spider's attack as it came to a stop right in the middle of all of them, right on top of the Hutt's seat.

 

Dew watched as his bolt exploded near the group of people. im sorry he thought to himself. next thing he knew was the creature flying across the room. at least they will be occupied... now he went to mowlu and said "ur not dead yet! come on we need to get out of here!" at that moment he helped mowlu toward the door the creature used to be blocking.

 

The barb that Mowlu threw hit a guard harmlessly bouncing off his armor. The barb was sharp, but had to hit its target point forward, throwing it was almost impossible to get the correct motion on it for proper penetration. Even if it hit, it was likely the poison was already gone. The shot he fired at the guard did successfully hit (5 dmg).

 

Once again Reno yelled for the wookies to just run. "LETS GET OUT" he yelled "WE DONT NEED TO FIGHT WE JUST NEED TO ESCAPE". Reno now meant business. He was out of tricks for this situation. The spider was not going down form the dart and the situation was in chaos. he had expected the wookies to just follow his escape instructions but they had fought and goofed around instead of just escaping clean. Reno also knew now that he needed to get Mowlu help for that poisonous sting. he didnt know how serious it was, not by a long shot... but a barb from a spider was still a bad omen in its own right. Reno was serious enough now that he had his weapon drawn, and was ready to join the fray if need be, but he was hoping to avoid fighting.

 

Mowlu turns and runs towards Reno. "lets go small fry." He hauled him over his shoulder(17), turns towards the ent with the few people left. Mowlu let'd out a roar and rushed the ent, barreling anyone out of his way(19), poor reno, draped over his shoulder. "LETS GO DEW, unless you want to be left with that" Indicating the spider that was still up, facing the guards.

 

Hal Ran towards the door everyone else was crowding in.

The guards were distracted with the spider and almost everyone was out of the door, it would only be a moment before everyone would be through. Mowlu's roar and charge knocked a couple people to the ground, but was largely unsuccessful due to how closely people were packed in the small space.

 

Dew follows Mowlu to the packed door. wen he arrives, he looks back and steadies his weapon in case they are noticed over here

 

Reno simply stated... "That was not... what I had in mind..."

 

Hal didn't like being funneled through a crowded but he had no other option. The only bright side to this escape was that more bodies meant more targets to distract the guards and the spider. He hoped, in the ensuing chaos outside the room, to slip out of the building entirely unnoticed. Once a hacker was identified they usually didn't last long in prison, and Hal intended to be far away when the time came for that.

 

Mowlu muscled his way out the door towards the outside along with the funnel of people, slowly pushing his way through, using his mass to help push things along. 'Hopefully we'll get outside before anyone notices that we're almost out...' He thought to himself as he carried Reno, hanging over his shoulder.

 

The Spider fought on against the guards, and the guards with it. However, it began to get drowsy from the tranquilizer Reno had shot it with and within a moment, it was down and out of the fight. It was likely the guards and those under the employment of Ridu would return it to the cage for further entertainment when it awoke from its forced slumber.

On the other side of the room, the doorway had broken free and everyone who had been trying to make it through finally got their wish. Through the doorway, the sight was likely not what anyone expected. The commons room that Reno and Hal had been in earlier was filled with people, but the attitude was not of those who had just escaped a dangerous situation or still trying to escape, it was more of an out of the frying pan, into the fire. All the people who had escaped the room were crowded up in the middle, surrounded by a large number of guards. As the last few came through the door, a few of the guards near the door shouted at them, "Get over there! You the last of them?" They gestured with their guns toward the group in the middle while staying a few feet back, especially from the wookiees.

 

Dew was watching the creature as it fell down... well at least thats done with, now let get out of here
"mowlu whats it look like?" dew yelled as he turned around and went through the door. Dew was almost the last one through the door, and was rather shocked by the guards. he leveled his weapon at the feet of some guards well enough away from him and his friends and fired.

 

'Well, that's gone to hell..' Mowlu drops Reno and open fires on the guards 'better hope between Dew's shot and mines, this gets us out.'

 

As the shots began to fly, Hal hit the deck. He had no intention of being caught in the crossfire.

 

Reno got to his feet.... deeply annoyed at the situation at this point. He had NO intentions of getting STUCK in a situation where he had an escape plan. In his anger, Reno takes a moment to light up a death stick, even in the middle of a fire fight. He takes one drag on it before lifting his blaster. With deadly pin point accuracy and agile blaster handling he puts a single blaster bolt between the eyes of any guards who stand between him, his allies, and their way out of this mess."using a fate point"

 

Reno's destiny, and for that matter, the destiny of the three others, was quite grand and, although not exactly precise, it didn't include dying here. So, with destiny on his side, Reno moved forward toward the exit, telling the others, "We're out of here." He had his pistol out and any guard that got in his way took a shot right between the eyes. The first and the second were easy because they were standing right in his way when he started. Two down, two shots, just like shooting swamp rats. A third one came rushing at him from an angle and Reno swiftly and smoothly turned his pistol on the man, taking down a third without missing a step. A fourth came up with the butt of a rifle just as Reno shot the third and smashed it into Reno's jaw. Blood splattered on the floor, but Reno kept his cool, daftly turning to take the man between the eyes. He paused briefly, taking a look at the other guards with a look that said I dare you. But none of them did. And with that, Reno holstered his pistol and simply walked out into the comparative darkness that was the streets of NarShaddaa with the light of Ridu the Hutt's compound outlining him to all onlookers in a bright silver lining.

 

Taking the opportunity, Hal quickly got off the floor and followed the gunslinger out the exit. He kept his expression hard as if to say I'm with this guy, even though he knew the man would have no idea who he was.

 

Reno was not particularly interested in much at this point except for getting the party out of the mess that they had gotten themselves into. Having made his point, he twirled his blaster around his fingers, further demonstrating his prowess at handling his weapon. He then holstered it, in true gunslinger fashion. He spat whatever blood was in his mouth on the ground and proceeded to smoke another death stick as he turned around to make sure that the wookies were behind him. He briefly took note of the man who followed him, but quickly dismissed him since he did not represent a threat. His free hand, however, was ready to draw his gun again if the should arise. Reno was still in run and gun mode, and anyone who made any sudden moves may well take a blaster bolt if Reno felt threatened.

 

Dew was super suprised his gun didnt fire... but it turned out ok, more than ok actually! im glad Reno is on our side he thought as he holstered the normal bowcaster and brought out the energy one. he marched behind the group watching the guards and glancing at the onlookers. "hey mowlu... how are we gonna get our rikk blades back?"

 

"Probably have to make new ones. It's not hard to get hold of the materials needed." Mowlu walks closer to Dew. "And later, I'm going to beat your ass." Mowlu walks past him, obviously upset over something.

 

As the party exited the compound, nobody followed them. The front door closed behind them, cutting off the light that came from within and leaving only the light that illuminated the street, which was quite substantial by itself if low compared to that inside at night. There wasn't a lot of people on the street, but there were still enough that you'd have to push people out of the way if you didn't follow the crowd. None of them who were walking past noticed the new group who had joined them, though a few glanced at Reno and his injured jaw that was beginning to swell which was not an uncommon sight on NarShaddaa.

 

With his swelling jaw Reno did not know if he would be easily understood. So he he communicated his thoughts with a gesture... pointing at the spider sting on his wookie companion.

 

Dew noticed what reno did. then he said "ya we should get back to the ship, unless yall know of a place around here to deal with somthing like this."

 

Mowlu shaked his head. "I am not that familiar with Nar shadaa, despite the amount of time I've spent here. Please, lets keep going, it's starting to kick in. It's only a matter time.."

 

Reno agreed, and then added "You two idiots pissed off the huts. we need to get OFF of the world that THEY own. There is a medical station on the ship. Im getting us off of Narshadaa before the two of you cause any more havoc!" Reno then turned to Hal, having noticed that Hal had followed him and asked "I dont know who you are, but we are leaving. Did you want something?"
