I Can't wait!!!!!

 

With the new Black Series figures is there any difference between the First Edition/Premium figures and the regular ones other than the packaging?

 

The carbonized figures have a metallic shine on them from different paint apps. The first edition figures just have different boxes.

Anyone have a list of what they're going for next week?

 

Yeah, I knew the carbonized ones were different, I was just curious about the others. I am working on a list of what I’m planning to get.

Haha, yeah, trust me, I get it. There's a lot of stuff that you just kind of have to stumble upon. For the longest time, the carbonized Second Sister was supposed to be the figure in the Game bundle. Now she's not. Neither is the purge Trooper. So who the heck knows what that figure is.

I have a list mostly made up, but I feel like new stuff pops up every day, so it's getting really hard to make a solid plan!

 

That Purge Trooper looks awesome. That’s definitely on my list.

If you're in London, Forbidden Planet will be opening from midnight to 1 AM on Oct 4 for TFF.

 

There’s a Walmart near me that’s open 24 hrs but I go to bed early so I’m not doing a midnight run. I might get up early and see if there’s anything on the shelves, we’ll see. Target opens at 8 and GameStop at 10am. Hopefully I can get around work and see what’s available.

I think out of all of the figures the Janna figure is absolutely beautiful for detailing - it looks just like the actress and the details are amazingly spot on.

That video stream was interesting, I'm not a huge unboxing fan but I kinda dig seeing the actors get at it. Props for Billy Dee Williams shouting out the craftspeople working on it.

 

I've got my list of what I'm wanting to get, we'll see how it goes. Only four days to go, Woohoo!

 

Triple Force Friday unofficial checklists!

 

Damn! I was hoping Mattel would do the TIE Defender. The Black Series version is scarce and I've seen it on ebay for over $100 AUD! It is the only model I need to complete my collection of available TIE fighter variants in that scale.

 

PLJ, that list is crazy. After looking at it my listed hasn't changed. There might be an alternate or two if I can't obtain something, but I'm not going crazy, I've still got some Sideshow stuff I'm working to get.

 

PJL collecting queen, is very good to steer you in the right way when it comes to collecting.

There’s a Build a Bear about 5 miles from where I live. I doubt I’d pay $55 for that, but if I was gonna by a Bear from them that’d be the one.

Yes it is time.....!!! Time to collect what is rightfully ours for being such wonderful fans! I am out at Target and nothing is out . But the Wal-Mart across the street said they are going to do something at midnight! An hour and a half to go, keep you posted!
