The Mandalorian Tusken Raiders (spoilers)

Listening to that conversation between the Pyke Representative and Boba, I realized there is a line that may unravel the truth behind the massacre.

Boba said that the Tuskens far outnumber the Kintan Striders which, if true, means that this speeder bike gang should not have easily massacred the Tuskens (at least not without taking a few with them). They either had to be given weapons by someone to cause significant damage... or it was the Pykes themselves. That lingering shot of that Pyke Representative tells me they knew that the massacre was taking place while Boba was away.

 

Yes, and Bib Fortuna ordered it.

 

Om pretty sure that the striders just bombed the hell out of the village.

The Pykes trying to establish dominance on the planet is presented as a new development. Presumably 5 years ago when these events were taking place the Pykes had a much smaller bit role on Tatooine’s landscape and they weren’t looking to ruffle any feathers unnecessarily.

Also I know a lot of people missed it, but the child Tusken is almost certainly dead as Boba burned their stick

I agree. If Boba hadn't found the child's dead body, I doubt he would have burned their stick.

Imagine the horrible smell. Bodies smell like **** when burning. Something they always forget to portray in movies/TV.
