As of last night, Black Mirror.

Black Museum was the perfect series finale and the series should have ended there at the end of season four. Season five was mediocre at best, godawful at worst.

Hopefully they're working on a 2nd half to season 5 or season 6 to wash the bad taste out of our mouths.

I'm of the opinion that, outside of one or two exceptions, Black Mirror took a notable dip since Netflix took it over. But perhaps that's just me donning hipster glasses and railing against what made the show popular and cool.

Yeah, I disagree. I think season four was actually the overall strongest season of the show and I'd take season three over season two. In terms of individual episodes, Fifteen Million Merits set a really high water mark and I could be convinced it's the best of the show as a whole, so there's that. But I really loved both three and four. If they do give us a season six, it had better be really, really good. But, yeah, the three episodes of season five . . . I just took a look at my ranking of the previous episodes and . . . those three episodes are now all in my bottom six. Yikes. I threw those episodes into the still pond of my episode list and they just sank like stones.

I don’t know if I was high or something when I made this list or just brain dead. I missed my favorite shows

    Avatar the last Airbender
    Breaking Bad
    Droids
    Clone Wars
    Legend of Korra
    Rebels
    The Clone Wars

shows I started watching but stopped
The Walking Dead (what happened to this)
Better Call Saul (plan on watching when it’s all out)

I would make a comment about how some of you have seen dozens of shows and how you have no life but that would be the pot calling the kettle black.

Easy to watch every episode when they stop after 2 seasons, eh? And agreed, it's great.

I've binged every Taskmaster in the last month (9 seasons, 2 specials), so much fun. I am now struggling through the US version (one season), which just shows how vital good contestants and a host with personality is. I've never encountered Lisa Lampanelli before, and Lord help me I hope I never have to again.

You can watch a whole season of Fleabag in less time than you can watch The Irishman.

Just posted my review of the series finale in the TV Episode thread, so let's make it official. I've seen all of Fleabag. What a show. What a show. I would say that season one is an exceptional season of a comedy series. Season two is . . . something else entirely. I mean, it's a work of art that transcends any genre you try to put it in. It's just a masterpiece and Phoebe Waller-Bridge is a genius.

    Gatchaman original series*
Monty Python’s Flying Circus (Multiple times)
    Faulty Towers
    The X-Files
    Knightfall
    The Mandalorian
    Dracula NBC

*After failing to get through series 2 and series 3, these were worse than Battle of the Planets, so in my mind, there is only the original Gatchaman.

Space Force: amusing, and occasionally I saw or heard something that makes me think maybe a writer actually served in uniform.

13 Reasons Why—watch the first season, skip the rest

Avatar: The Last Airbender—a modern classic

Avatar: The Legend of Korra—gets compared to A:TLA; just imagine if TLA didn’t exist

Band of Brothers—profoundly impacting, might have to do a rewatch soon

Battlestar Galactica (reboot)—have you not seen it? Watch it now!

Better Call Saul—the very rare prequel spin-off that’s nearly as great as the original

    Billions—blech, writing is really corny

Bodyguard—fun British show with Richard Madden

Breaking Bad—might be the greatest tv show ever

The Crown—first two seasons are great; third is eh

Curb Your Enthusiasm—you have to have the right sense of humor for this; so v good

    Desperate Housewives—fun trash

    Dexter—stop watching after season 4

Downton Abbey—a personal favorite, but can understand why many might snooze

Fargo—season 3 was a bit of a letdown, but still superior to 99% of other tv

Frasier—honestly might be better than Seinfeld, but too traditional

Freaks and Geeks—aargh, why couldn’t it have gone on for several more seasons!?

Friday Night Lights—you probably won’t like if not into football or hate Texas

    Fringe—fun paranormal detective show

Game of Thrones—read the books instead

The Haunting of Hill House—delightfully creepy and tense psychological horror

Homeland—uneven: great first season, big dip with 2+3, great recovery with 4 on

House MD—it’s all about Hugh Laurie being so much fun as an arrogant genius

    House of Cards—skip

How I Met Your Mother—super funny, ending is a letdown

IT Crowd—super funny; might have to re-evaluate with a rewatch

Lost—still not quite anything else like this; controversial ending

Mad Men—might be the greatest tv show ever

    The Mandalorian—watch it now!

Master of None—fun romantic comedy/travelogue; now controversial b/c of Ansari

Mindhunter—Anna Torv is the best part of a very strong cast; super well-written

The Night Manager—like Tom Hiddleston? watch it

Orange is the New Black—nothing quite like it; affecting, funny, tragic

The Pacific—good, not as good as BoB. Has Rami Malek before making it big

    Rome—very good

Seinfeld—great 90s sitcom, starting to show its age

Sex Education—worth watching if only for Gillian Anderson

Shogun—early 80s and v slow paced; highly enjoyable if into Japanese history

Silicon Valley—earlier seasons were much funnier; Tres Commas!

The Sopranos—might be the best show of the late 90s, early aughties

Star Trek: Discovery—Star Trek reinvented, and therefore controversial

Star Trek: Picard—slowly paced, meandering, but by no means bad or boring

Stranger Things—wonderful, imaginative; little else like it

Veep—super funny political show becomes a morass of its own running gags

Weeds—wasn’t afraid to reinvent itself and try new things; fearless and daring

    Westworld—trying to be Lost, failing

The Wire—probably the best show of the aughties

I’ll have to give it a watch sometime.

I need to catch up on IASIP first, though. Not to mention, finish West Wing...
