Memph, TN "Two gutter balls ago in a galaxy far, far away..." The SMT Cosmic Bowling Experience

Come on out and join the SMT for a few rounds of Cosmic Bowling on Saturday, January 31st at Billy Hardwick's All-Star Lanes at 1576 S White Station Rd, Memphis.

We'll meet up in the lobby at 8:30 pm. Cosmic Bowling starts at 9 pm and lasts until 3 am. Officially, we'll plan on bowling until midnight, but, if we're having too much fun to quit, we can always roll on through until 3 am.

The price for three hours is $12, including shoe rental.

If you know you'll be there, then please let us know as soon as you can. If I have a good idea of how many to expect, I can try to reserve us a few lanes beforehand.

Anybody get the ad yet? I'm thinking of doing this as a mailer for all of our upcoming meetings.

Of course, I now wish I would have named it "Suspicious Minds in the Gutter". Why do I not think of these things earlier?

Tim I got the ad and it was awesome. You should definetly do these for more of the meetings.

 

Tim: I'm glad you liked it. I thought it would be good to have something eye-catching to send to current and prospective members. So far, only three people couldn't get it to open because of either their email program or ISP. Despite that, I'm going to continue to use my handy-dandy little cheapo flash program to make SMT ads for future events.

Jay: The jerseys are $24. Will you be joining us for bowling?

 

Jay: You're gonna dig'em! The jerseys turned out sweet, and will look great at MSC this spring!

Tim: Can you do a jpeg image and/or screen capture or simple animated gif as well? I know most folks can open flash these days, but some still can't, or don't know how.

Never done gifs, Lin. I do have a way to do them, but I've just never tried. But you're right, it would work better for some folks. Of course, I'm addicted to the flash format because it can be more complex.

 

I completely understand! I'm going to have to get with the program and learn it. We're about to start updating/revamping the MSCA site and I'd like to be able to animate parts of it. I'd also like to do some promos for it and the Nightarez site.

 

Tim- Yep, I'll be comming for Bowling, seeing that I miss everything else, I'm gonna dedicate some time to the fanforce, and take a little break from the SCA. I'll bring an additional money for a Jersey if they're ready at the Bowling.

Lin- The Jerseys sound really cool!

Well, it looks like I'll be missing yet another SMT meeting. My mother broke both of her ankles Monday, so I'll be trying to spend some more time with her. I have a rant on this subject that I will be posting in the rant thread.
