Buff, NY Ultrasabers interest and ordering thread

Hello all, now that we are getting into the process of preparing for dueling forSWNX and since there are some new members, I thought I would start a thread to see who would be interested in ordering a combat lightsaber from ultrasabers. They have quite the variety to choose from and are reasonable compared to other manufacturers. If you are interested in a stunt saber that would not include any sound you can get One for under $100. If you are interested in ordering from ultra sabers, please post here and if we get enough people, say five or six, then I will be happy to place the order. If this is your first stunt saber purchase, when you are choosing the blade style be sure to pick heavy grade for dueling purposes. I have ordered from them before so if you have any questions feel free to ask. They were pretty quick in shipping so if we get enough people within a reasonable amount of time and I have payment then we could potentially order and have them before the first filming date but definitely by the second filming date. I'm thinking a grab-bag saber w/blade.

I know we've discussed this before, but what blade style would be recommended to resist Gil-level enthusiasm?

 

Heavy Grade & Ultraedge Heavy Grade blades literally weigh twice as much as the mid-grade blades. They do sacrifice brightness in exchange for brutal strength. These are the recommended blade types for full contact dueling.

Are you looking for a dayblade? If so I know where to get one, but they have limited color options.

 

Can i turn the sound FX off on an ultrasaber?

 

You can get one without any sound at all if you want.

 

You cannot turn sound of on my ultrasaber. Perhaps they have more expensive options that do, but I'm not sure.

 

That is 1 feature I wish I had. Sound control.

 

Some folks have suggested a solid pommel for short-term use. Also, stuffing some tissues in the sound cavity.
