Has anyone noticd their pricing seems to have gotten much more expensive, almost along the lines of Park Sabers?

it depends on the hilt design and what other options you go with. the fancy and more recognizable hilts are more pricey but the ultrasaber standards havent changed. if you are looking at sound and light options they have introduced a new sound and light board that allows a lot of customization but with that it is more expensive. so they just have a few different tiers now from stunt to a few different sound and light system options.

That's why I mentioned this. My Consular cost about $180 just a few years ago, now it's almost $400? YIKES!

So I'm considering buying a basic Lightsaber for occasional use (such as the mass duel at SWN) but don't want to invest in a high end model like you professional Jedi/Sith use. Recommendation(s)?

you can get a stunt saber(no sound) at a fairly decent price and at the low end they do have some options as to what hilt you would prefer. the stunt saber i use for dueling was only $70.

Thanks! That doesn't sound too bad, and I think that's all I'd want.

this is the short version of the one i have, the choke points are excellent for spinning and flourishes! and who doesnt love flipping a lightsaber around!

That's the one we were looking at last night as a matter fact! I'm happy to keep the price under $100 for him but I'm thinking it's a Light saber he will have for a long time.
