Lit Underused canon characters

Your not the only one. For being a main character of a trilogy she has only showed up in 4 works.

Shara Bey and Evaan are both fascinating characters who have been used not at all.

 

Basically any Jedi Council Member besides Yoda, Plo Koon, Mace Windu, Obi-Wan, and technically Anakin.

I'd love to get background stories for each and every one of them.
Many were even underused in legends.

 

Gimme more Cad Bane and much more Sinjir Rath Velus. Also, I need me some more story with the Jedi Council and the Separatist Council. The day I see San Hill, Shu Mai and Was Tambor go up against Oppo Rancisis and Coleman Kcaj will be a good day indeed.

 

Bultar Swan. Aside from her cameo in AOTC we haven't seen anything of her in canon. Legends showed us a bit more, but there is still a lot left to cover even in that continuity.

 

Saw Gerrera. A very interesting and morally complex character. I would like to see him become the focus of a comic book series or the central character of a novel.

 

Commander Cody. Scarr squad. But in all reality, I came into this thread when I thought it also referred to ""Legends" characters. I want to throw my vote in for Set Harth.

 

I want more Cylo

 

Forgot to mention Delta Squad. How the hell aren't they in a new story?!?

 

Might not be the most popular opinion of an underused character, but Boba Fett has gotten exactly two appearances since the Disney buyout. One brief and widely out of character comic appearance and the only bad short story in the entire facpov collection.

I didn't like that either, but we have to remember that the Boba Fett we've always known and loved was a product of Legends. They're obviously going for... something else now.

It's kind of why I hate the way they're doing Vader.

Vader in canon is a barely restrained rage machine constantly lashing out when the Vader of the movies is a cold fury from a man who has lost everything. He's a vibroblade in the movies and the one in canon is just a brutish thug.

Also, they have Vader supporting the Death Star when he was contemptuous of it at every step of the way.

It makes him look significantly dumber.

 

I Googled this name to make sure I was remembering the right character and Google images displayed a photo of Owen Wilson.



To contribute: Thirding SCAR Squadron. Yeah, they appeared in a fair number of issues, but I found the way they (outside of Kreel) were thumped off-page in Storms of Crait underwhelming. I hope they return in future media or are further detailed in supplemental material. I would like to see more of their elite operations.
