Hi Uninteresting Introduction

You wouldn't believe the difficulty I just had in coming up with a title. Absolutely ridiculous. I thought about leading with a Star Wars pun but thought, "I've got a bad feeling about this", so I scrapped that. Then I considered feigning ignorance and using an Ewan McGregor quote from a different source altogether (I was going to use Renton from Trainspotting) in a sort of "Oops! Wrong film, heh heh" thing...but I'm trying to shake my stupid joke addiction.

In the end, I settled on "Boring-Quirky" in the hopes that I come across as a pseudo-intellectual who uses sarcasm and dry humor to mask my lack of any actual depth.

Seriously though, I've been looking for a good forum for quite some time. This place seems pretty rad, and I'm all about a good community. It didn't even have to be Star Wars-centric, that just happens to be a perk for me, if this place turns out to be the droids I was looking for.

As for myself, I'm a 36 (66? It's really tough to tell some mornings) year old husband and father, varied nerd, and hardcore casual Star Wars fan. Or is it casual hardcore? I can't name all the obscure characters, but I just bought a lightsaber I didn't need, so...?

Anyhow, I look forward to getting to know the people and places of this forum. It seems like a lot to take in, so as I stumble through, I'm apologizing in advance for any faux pas. And for any dad jokes I might make!

As for what I'm interested in..I'm super typical: Superheroes, Sci Fi, Fantasy, Ninjas. I play video games, Magic The Gathering, some D&D. I guess my biggest things aside from Star Wars are X-Men and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Just...so much stuff lol. I'm sure you know how that goes.
