Saga Unpopular Star Wars opinions!

The movies are inferior to the EU.

 

I like the design of Snoke

 

Disney should remove the sequels of their canon and make an animated movie or a series like The Clone Wars instead I feel that TLJ has done a lot of damage to the saga although I know it will not happen

 

The Clone Wars (2008 series) should be removed from canon.
Rebels is bad but essentially harmless so it can stay

 

I mean, that's an entirely meaningless goal. Frankly, a better idea would just be to firmly relegate it to canon so that it and the Clone Wars multimedia project from Legends can be firmly separated.

 

The entirety of Star Wars should be removed from the Star Wars canon. Only then can we have...peace.

 

I have to admit that with the passing of time I'm considerably less enthusiastic about TCW than I once was. Still, better than Rebels. Actually I think Rebels contributed to me devaluing TCW.

 

Rebels relies on Clone Wars' existence (see Darth Maul still being alive).

 

The EU/legends is vastly overrated.

 

ROTS Yoda is the best looking Yoda to date.

 

The Original Trilogy is still the best Trilogy in Star Wars

 

How is the EU/Legends overrated?

 

I constantly see praise for it, but I feel like it's just a bunch of glorified fanfiction.

 

Get ready for people to say you are a hater. But seriously, you could call the extra content in the new canon a bunch of glorified fanfiction as well.

 

The light saber duels of the PT are inferior to those of the OT. Visually the TPM and ROTS duels are pretty cool and I like them but it honestly amazes me when someone ranks Obi vs Ani over either of the Luke vs Vader duels.

 

Anything other than the movies is a glorified fan fiction

 

Well I think that today people love the prequels more than the Original Trilogy
That's why I say it, I grew up with the prequels but now I realize that they have many errors

 

I hate TLJ but I believe that Episode IX will be the best of the ST and will make TFA and TLJ better

 

There were no "mysteries" at all in TFA, and TLJ didn't "subvert expectations" by not answering fan questions that didn't even exist when the film was written.

 

Count Dracula > Count Dooku

 

Count Chocula is better than Count Dracula.

 

ok here are some more of mine,

- I like the AOTC duel. My only wish is that it wasn't so heavily chopped.

- I wish Owen and Beru had a bit more oommph about them in AOTC

- I prefer Alec Mcguiness as Obi-Wan

- I'm not a fan of the crossguard lightsaber
which brings me to:

I don't like the inconsistency on the 'weight' of lightsabers, In ROTJ they swing them around as if they are heavy (esp Luke) - (as does Kylo Ren in the ST) in ROTS they hardly seem to have any weight to them at all.

or maybe it's just me and I'm imagining things

 

The ESB duel is better than the ROTJ duel. Too much cutting and editing in the ROTJ duel.

Anakin Vs Obi-Wan is still the most emotional duel in the series.

TFA wasn't good to start the ST to begin with
