I agree, I prefer Clone Wars (Animesque) to the TCW (Pixaresque).

Ya can argue Palpatine could have stopped the lightning.
How was Jango being stupid? Grievous did try to use the blaster, but I cant imagine a scenario where he would be able to use it without Obi-Wan dodging it (like he did with Jango) or using the Force to grab it before him.

But that lightning doesn't kill him :p
And it gives him sympathy in the Senate :p

My point is in ROTS Palaptine can turn off his Lightning when its redirected at him via a lightsaber blade.
Apparently he lost the off switch power in TROS. :p XD

I like the fact nothing in Star Wars completely meshes well with one another.

I think Star Wars is big enough for something like Rogue and Star Wars resistance to exist and be considered "Canon"

I like the singing scene at the end of the "Double Agent Droid" and I laughed at his reaction to the Ghost returning to save him.

It's the kind of fun silliness that I don't think is necessarily bad in Star Wars and that I wouldn't mind seeing it again, so long as it remains something that only occurs once in a rare while (because I do find it out of place).

Obi-Wan looks horrid with Padawan hair in TPM.

Darth Bane in the orbalisk armor is easily better than TCW's version.

Obi-Wan's character arc in TPM is underrated and he gets some great subtly snide lines in that film.

^I think his dynamic with Qui-Gon and the jealousy/ disapproval of Anakin humanizes him a bit, arguably more than when he's in the mentor role in later films.

I think Obi-Wan should have been the focus character of the PT in general!

    Or

at the very least Padme be the focus character of Ep 1

I like it too, very much.

There are some OOU things like the Chewie Tarzan yell and the Podrace announcers that sorta break the GFFA feel for me, but somehow this was SO over the top that I was all in.

I don't really care about authorial intent in Star Wars, with a multimedia franchise constantly getting retconned and different authors continuing characters stories it kinda...doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

Ahsoka Tano is overrated. She was lazily inserted into the story, there was no mention of Anakin having a padawan before or after. She is powerful from the onset and defeats some of most dangerous adversaries like Grievous and Asajj Ventress, later Maul and Vader. She survives Tarkin, Order 66, the Empire years, etc.
In short Ahsoka is Filoni's flawless OC character.

Should have a different title then. The first cuts of Star Wars actually had WW2 footage of aerial dogfights as substitute for unfinished special effects. It's a hero's journey, but it's also a galaxy rocked by war. Battle of Yavin, Battle of Hoth, Battle of Endor, those were highlights of the OT.

TFA is my favorite of the ST. It had the best balance of old school SW joy and the new direction.

I think TFA gets a bad rap. It's fun, has a simple yet compelling story. I disn't think about the ANH rehash staff until the end attack on the base by the X wings. It's easily my favorite of the 3.

Same here, and frankly a doomsday weapon like Starkillerbase or Desth Star or Starforge is a essential to the story.

My hate for TFA stems from its incredibly unsubtle anti-PT messaging. Down to the aesthetics, creative decisions, and marketing.

As far as I'm concerned, TFA is as canon to the PT as somebody's PT rewrite on Fanfiction.net is with Michael Fassbender as Obi-Wan and Timothee Chalamet as Anakin.

I dislike the ST as a whole, but TFA is probably my ''favorite''. Yeah, it was unoriginal and oversaturated with OT nostalgia, and those are legit problems, but I can't deny that many of the things that I detest most about the ST didn't happen in TFA, or at least weren't as bad.

The character Rey is not as flat and boring as some people often say. Actually she has to deal with a lot of burdens, fears and feelings. The films may don't do their very best job in transporting this sometimes but Rey's story is on the screen. Also Daisy Ridley acts those feelings very well.
