New Jersey Upcoming Meeting/Events Thread

Mike asked me to post this for everyone :

This will be the thread where you can get updates on our upcoming meetings and events. Any one of the council members will post information on anything coming up. Any questions regarding a meeting or event may be asked here and it will be answered by one of us.

 

Thanks to strawbary for posting this for us.

Our next meeting was discussed on Saturday and we're gonna have it at Gary and Marie's house on Sunday, September 21...the day after MegaShow.

 

Instead of posting threads on our meetings, I think we should instead post in here to make things easier on ourselves and more helpful for newcomers.

If I weren't stuck at Fordham because it's homecoming weekend, and RA's have to stay on campus (emphasis) that weekend, I would definitely come out to the meeting. Sorry guys and gals.

Guys let's also start giving some thought to where we're holding the October meeting. It it fast approaching.

 

So, we're also going to throw in a meeting on October 18th w/ the costume workshop, right?

 

Yeah, I say we have the meeting in October on the 18th, before we start the costuming workshop. It's easier that way

 

We need to do a shop first. I know I brought this up yesterday and I KNOW everyone listens when I talk right?

I have been asked to post this.
On Oct 11 that's 2 weeks from yesterday DB516 is having a Star Wars Day at Hollywood Video Plainview. One of their members owns the store they are asking who would like to attend costumed or not doesn't matter. I will be there anyone else?

 

I will too, and I'm pretty sure R.J is going. I invited Blackwolf the dragonmaster and he said he's also going. I just need directions.

 

I don't think I'll be making it.

I'm taking this opportunity to say that I would like to have the December meeting at my place. Good old Howell, NJ. Y'all know the way!

 

I cant wait until the Light Saber Convention I really want to start making the light sabers and learn the facts of making a light saber. That meeting is going to be one of my favorites out of them all.
