The caterer that we had planned to use has notified us that they are booked and unable to fill our order for December 17. Considering the short time from now until Saturday, we will now have a pot luck dinner.

Everyone is asked to bring a dish to share. This can be a side or an appetizer. Please make sure there is enough to go around.

Please post ASAP with what you willbe bringing so that we don't end up with 20 of the same dishes. Please do not post that you will update what you are bringing. Take a moment to figure it out and post right away.

    Sorry for the short notice

Based upon replies in the earlier thread, we have:
36 people attending as of this posting (or reposting for edits)
As this is now a pot-luck party, bring enough of your item for maybe 20-24 people, and bring your own drink of choice.
Please clarify if you are unaccompanied, with spouse/significant other/total stranger and/or kids, and identify them, please.

Janice and Larry - paper plates, napkins, plastic ware, cups, shrimp.
Jon - baked mac and cheese dish and a mystery Dessert
Steve Lukasik - brownies and/or cupcakes
    Peter + 3 kids - dessert
    Lisa, Dave, Victoria - CHIPS
Bryan - red velvet cake balls
Michelle and Greg, Riley and Tyler - veggie tray and a cheese and cracker tray.
    Anna - chicken dish
Kathleen - cheese puffs(?) and lasagna
Dan and Biz - bread bowl and/or Chili, special recipe Biz ham (kosher for Passover)
    Loseys (3) - two cheesecakes, 2 bucket of wings, and Mama's mac-cheese
    Karen - side dish
    Gil - macaroni salad
    Rob - appetizer
Elaine - hot pasta and beef thingy.
Chris Ballard + Liz - honey corn bread (yum)
Steve and Mary - chicken wing soup
Marty - sushi and club pack sides (most likely mashed potatoes and veggies)

    Still To Be Determined:

    Chris Mindy Xander -
    Jess - something non-dessert

We need to identify the desserts and appetizers so we don't have duplicate items or everybody bringing the same thing.

I will prepare a large chicken dish with a mustard sauce to be served with veggies over rice.

For those of you bringing dishes, please bring them serve ready, meaning in a serving container/dish/bowl and necessary utensils. Thank you!!

I have chaffers if anyone would like to use them to keep certain dishes warm. I will have them ready to go if needed.

It seems we are heavy on desserts - I will try and get something non-dessert related together for the party!

Would anyone eat sushi if I bought a club pack?

And I'll grab some club pack sides (most likely mashed potatoes and veggies) from Wegmans since I can't cook worth a dam.

Sorry guys, I've been away for the last couple weeks. I'll bring a baked mac and cheese dish for tonight and something (haven't decided yet...) for dessert. Probably cookies, unless i can find something more creative.
