User Notes

Are we able to view our own user notes? Like if we ask a mod? Is it allowed for us to see what is written about us?

 

You may PM a mod to view your user notes (any type- meaning mod, manager, admin) and they will show them to you. You may not show them to any other users however, on-site, just as no other users can disclose their notes to you, whether publicly or priaately.

 

Like Coruscant said, a mod can probably show you your user notes if you send them a PM.

 

As droideka27 and maybe others pointed out in this thread, you can PM a mod to see your user notes. In fact, after reading that, just out of curiosity, I PMed droideka27 and asked her to send me mine. They actually extended back over my whole time on the boards and were quite interesting.

 

Yes, the answer is yes.

We share your User Notes with you based on the fact that you don't share them with any other User.

User notes are to be requested for a good reason via PM. We can distribute them to you with the names of mods removed and any other sensitive information. We are not obligated to send them to you just because a request was made.

Most people's usernotes are pretty blank.

 

I found mine contained a record of the many many times I've been banned and unbanned for a Mafia or Million Colors game. And just a few other things.

Looking back on my user notes, I was banned for small stupid crap for the most part. 40% of the time I didn't think I deserved it.

 

I'm tempted to ask for mine, but I'm not sure I want to.

 

Mine make me look mean.

 

Imagine that, someone thinking they were innocent and did not deserve to be banned.

 

I'm scared to look at my user notes.

 

When I saw mine for the first time after getting promoted, I don't think there was anything there at all.

Yeah, but it was self-denial for the most part.

 

Most people don't have much. Some don't have any at all.
But there's a handful that have an absolute War & Peace sized history.

Nah. There are some real problem users from days past... That really were a problem, from what I've seen.

I feel they make for a good laugh. Like what is said in your user notes really has an effect on your life.
