Policy Username Change Request Thread v2.0

Can my username please be changed to TherenAdarni ? Brand cohesion or whatever

 

I would like to have this sock's username changed to Diary Challenge Sock. (So essentially, the same name but without the connecting _s.)

 

One can hardly underscore the gravity of this change. There may not be space for it.

 

I have never changed my socks, and I don't intend to.

 

Both here on the boards and in real life, I strongly dislike socks, though in both cases they do have legitimate purposes.

 

What me liking my own post for a year wasn’t a legitimate purpose? You wound me.

When my sister was a toddler, she called my Boba Fett figure "Blobofat". It always made me chuckle and was the reason I went with this username. But, back in lockdown, I was out walking with my daughter when I disclosed to her that I spend a few minutes a day posting nonsense on TFN under this username and she said she didn't didn't like the 'fat' part of it in there. I'd never thought of it before but it's kind of niggled away at me to the point where I think it's time for a change. I'm in no way the sort of guy who jokes about size.

So can it be changed to Blobo? (I think that's better?)

 

I just like how it's the kind of thing that we feel needs some sort of admission when being revealed to people in real life.

I think a lot of my colleagues and students would be genuinely stunned if they knew I spend time posting here. Not because they'd think it was a silly place to do so, but because I know a fair few think I'm the serious type whose head is permanently buried in work.
