Aye - although it has to be said that it's more fun in RL... :D

Ah... I'm afraid I used a walkthrough as I managed to get myself severely lost on I & II, so figured that VII would be no different! [face_blush] ;)

Have you heard from Nat recently? She seems to have disappeared...:(

*Decides to decorate the pub for New Year's with some tinsel and party poppers*
Actually, what does one use to decorate the house with on New Year's? I'm afraid to admit that I've never celebrated it, so honestly have no clue! [face_blush] Hope my efforts are good enough though... *Drags in one of the old Jonny Depp cutouts for good measure...* :D

I've never decorated for New Year.
All I do is watch TV, drink booze, put up my calendar then go to bed.

Although this year we have fireworks left over so I might use some.

KIRA: turns out I was going in the right direction but I was hitting a hidden obstacle that stopped me and I thought I couldn't go that way. I managed it in the end though. :)

I don't think Nat is coming back. :(

Richie: Sounds good - I normally just sleep (at least as much as possible when one lives near Thruxton race circuit, which often has a huge fireworks display... Bah Humbug! :D )

Moose: So where abouts are you? If you don't mind me asking, that is! :)
And no Nat... :( Maybe a few pokes/hugs are in order here... [face_thinking]

I was at that bit where you have to go to the docks to see off the Shinra president, there's a crane and it blocks off part of the road. I'm now on the other continent. I think I'm on the railway line now.

She was on the main board, so I think she's still around. :)

    Aww, Moose! [:D] I'm sure you'll do well :)

Just finished my dissertation [face_dancing] And now that I've just been told that my Uni is starting an MA in games animation next year, I no longer know what to do with my life... 8-} :D

Moose and Spike: Thanks guys [:D] It was due in on the 30th, but I had actually finished it 2 days before hand, which I am told is not normal... [face_worried]

It seems I have been away for a fair while... Almost a whole month in fact
Dunno what I have been doing with my life over said month, but there we go :D Does anyone know how I could go about creating some Peter and the Wolf style music for my film? I tried using Garageband, but I am about as musically adept as a house brick...

Welcome back Marte! :) It is good to have some of the olbies returning ;) Where abouts did you go on your travels, if you don't mind me asking?

Peter and the Wolf style in what way?
Do you mean with the same instruments, or do you want the soundtrack?

Ah - that was a little unspecific of me! [face_blush]

I meant that I would have a different instrument for each character (such as the duck being represented by the Oboe in Peter and the Wolf). Hope that makes more sense :D

    Oh I see.
Well, there is a lot of music making stuff around. I'd advise asking halibut, he seems to know a lot about that sort of thing.

Or, just take some solo pieces of various types of insturment and use them. Ok they're not your original compositions, but they still work.

Thanks Richie - I shall go bug Hal :D

Unfortunately, they have to be my own compositions for copyright reasons - many animation students have been sued in the past, and I really don't wish to join them! [face_worried]

That's really just quite very evil!

Yup - scary, ain't it? [face_worried] Only those who happened to get their film entered into one of the prestigeous award ceremonies with an illegal soundtrack though. Seen as those are quite widely broadcast, it would have meant a lot of pie on the faces of the copyright holders had they not said anything...

And Cobra: Ooo... Personal project, or have you been officially commissioned? :)

Um, somewhere between the two :p My friend from Hungary is doing an MMO, and I'm helping out with various stuff (languages for spells, Voice acting), and then my bandmate wanted to know if he wanted music, and he did, so now we're both doing it. Mostly for fun, we're not sure if he's going to pay us or not. Mainly because he keeps disappearing :p

Sorry Cobra - only just found your reply!

Ooo... I'd give my left arm for that kind of opportunity! (And before anyone asks - no, that's not a literal offer :p )

Although I'm off to visit an animation studio called Studio AKA after Easter (they've done things like the Guiness rugby advert and the current Lloyds TSB ones) and we've got a guy from Lionhead studios visiting too... :-B [face_hypnotized] =P~ [face_money_eyes] [face_love]

I deliberatley mix mine up - I'm told it's an art student thing... :D

Besides, even when I was at school and forced to wear black socks ( I-) ), they all looked different shades of black (well, grey...). Long live funky coloured odd socks, I say! :D

And what does happen to them in the washing machine? I swear they are secretly the most intelligent lifeforms on the planet and have found a way to escape the machine, despite the lack of exits... [face_worried]

    Beware of the socks people! You have been warned... ]-}
