Challenge Valentine?s Day Fic-gift Exchange

Since the Holiday FanFic Gift Exchange, hosted by mavjade, was such a great success, here's another one for you:


Welcome to the Valentine?s Day Fic-gift Exchange!


It?s that time of the year where you start to ponder how to show that you value someone. Flowers wither, candies turn into hip gold (and oh horror - this before summer comes and hiding behind huge pullovers is not possible anymore ), so why not give a gift that can be appreciated over and over again.
And it?s easy - since it will be something you asked for!



How to Participate:

Send a PM to me, Maggy with the three things you?d like in a fic written just for you. Additionally one thing you?d not like in it, the one to three main characters you would like to star in the gift. Don?t forget to say in which Era(s) the story shall be written in.

Please add to your request the Era(s) you?d like to write for and any characters you will not write.


Example PM:

I?d like a story in Saga featuring:

1. a malfunctioning blaster
2. a medal
3. flowers

I do not want: Gungans

Characters: Wedge, Wes

I?d like to write for Saga or Beyond





After I have received all the requests I will send out PM's. Feel free to be as creative as you want but keep in mind that this is not a Dare challenge so don?t try to stump anyone; it should be something you?d like to read yourself.
Your request will not necessarily be given to the person for whom you are writing.




Deadlines:

Fic-gift Requests: Starting now till Friday, February 4th.

Requests will start going out during the weekend (Feb 5th and Feb 6th)

Deadline for your fic-gift to be posted: February 14th
Though you can post it beforehand as well




Other Important Info:

* When you post your fic-gift please put in the title "Valentine Fic-gift for the persons name" and post a link in this thread so I know you?ve posted and others can find it easily as well

* If your request has an Original Character in it, please provide a link to stories where someone can read your OC and get an idea about their character. If you are feeling particularly helpful, a character description and some character traits might be appreciated by the writer.

* It is very difficult once to trade fic-gift requests once they have all been sent out so please think carefully about what era's you agree to write in and what characters you would not like to write.

* If for some reason you find you will not be able to get your Fic-gift done by the deadline, please let me know as soon as possible so I can send the request to someone else. I don't want anyone to get left out!

* If you find yourself done with your fic-gift early and would be willing to write another fic-gift for someone who finds they are not able to write after all, let me know!
