Van Halen: Dave, Sammy or Gary? Who's your favourite?

I just burned a CD to listen to in the car and I've got some old VH on it.

Growing up, listening to VH, hanging out too late, etc.

 

I have every Van Halen cd in my car

I'm thinking of going to see Dave again next month.

 

When I was growing up, Van Halen w/ Roth was THE band! I remember drawing the little =VH= logo on my school books and talking about all the videos with friends at school. I didn't have anything against sammy, in fact I think 'Dreams' is one of the coolest songs ever. But if I could go back and choose who I'd want to see live-it would have to be with Roth.

 

All the younglings went with Sammy, but David Lee Roth was VH and 80's MTV

Someone asked me the day after the extreme "Bands Reunited" what instrument Gary played in Van Halen. I really wanted to smack them across the face a few times.

 

I am not a youngling and I went for Sammy.

 

I'm young and I picked Dave

 

Heheh well, looks like the second most popular choice is the real winner...

Van Halen has never had a singer that was even worth a crap. But if I listen to Van Halen then I'd much rather listen to the original David Lee Roth era music.
