This weekend I got to see both Soundgarden and Alice In Chains live for the first time in my life. Huzzah! My bucket list is now two items shorter.
How many of you checked your calendar and had to change it? I was only a month behind. Edit: make that 9 days
Reviving this one... Amazon has about ten Ray Bradbury Kindle books for $1.99 each, today only. Sci-fi sales jackpot.
I'm cleaning out my apartment to move and I found seventy bucks and an unopened Chapstick. EDIT: Correction, I found $820. EDIT 2: $840.
I got out of having to go to Atlantic City for a DJ Expo for work. My boss called me about an hour ago saying that they are seriously short on manpower for the setup and that I absolutely HAVE to go to the trade expos in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Both of those shows are in January. I can handle that.
My friends who can't get married in North Carolina due to Evilmendment One, just got married in Maryland.
Published! (sort of...I didn't write anything, but I got my picture in a magazine!) http://www.msretailer.com/msr/will-komassa-presidentceo-blizzard-lighting/
I sent a long e-mail today addressing an issue in my son's third-grade classroom, and got a very positive and reassuring response.
I just opened up my desktop, removed a video card, and reset the battery on my motherboard. I have arrived.
I usually roll into work a good 40 minutes late but this morning somehow remembered we have a 9:00 call so I'll be there in time.
Putting on a pair of pants that you use to have to suck in your gut and struggle pulling up the zipper to find they're barely even snug anymore.
I had a year like that. Got injured in the first race of the season (had made the third best time among all my friends during finals the year before), and my friends declared me finished and unable to regain my previous glories. They said that they would all be able to surpass me. The race I started running again, I beat them all and made varsity, and continued to improve every race of the season hence. Conveniently enough, today also marks the first time in ages that I have run over a mile. Not really a triumph, but certainly a small step towards one.
This is not my victory per se but a victory for justice. This morning on my way to work I had the usual aggressive young driver in a ridiculously low japanese piece of **** tailgating me and weaving in and out of lanes, speeding etc etc, but unlike most mornings, this mornning, there was a highway patrol cop who noticed this lunatic and actually pulled him over. Fists were pumping for the rest of the journey.
Yeah I never thought I'd have a good season after high school, and also because last year's season was god-awful in every regard. Weather was bad, I didn't have running spikes, and I was having arch pain for most of the season. I feel in tip-top form as of now.
Technically you passed at the time of taking the exam or at latest during the grading of your exam. You were only informed of the results today.
Congrats. I googled it just to make sure I got my english right before congratulating you on becoming a bartender
