The meeting is at 6:30pm in front of a bar called "The Bombardier".
The address is "2 place du Panthéon", near the famous Pantheon, of course
We should eat asian food, but later after bar. Here in France, we have dinner later than in the US

Sounds good to me. From the looks of it I can just hop on the RER to Luxembourg and that should get me the closest. Or maybe Carinal Lemoine on the 10 line. I know I'm just going to get confused with all the trains over there.

The same namesake (Metro) in Washington DC actually has less lines. Maybe the Metro in Paris isn't as difficult as it looks on paper.

RER to Luxembourg is the best way. And on the "Rue Soufflot", when you'll walk from RER to the pub, you'll find "Arkham", a comic book shop who also sells SW toys

Thanks for the advice. I can never get too many Star Wars comics so I will have to definitely drop by there.

So what kind of alchohol do you guys enjoy? Beer? Or does France have it's own decent brew I should try out?

Oh and is it true that most meats are cooked rare (mostly red) in France? I haven't been to France in over 13 years. And I was only in Strousborg for a day or two. So it's been awhile.

we drink many different things but most of us also drink beer

you can ask for what you want about meat in a restaurant. if you want it rare or burned you decide.

 

Ah that's good to hear on both ends. I'm a well-done (barely burnt) kinda meat-eater.

I'm not much for American beer, but I love Ale and Lager from the UK and Germany. Now, that's good stuff.

I had the best time with you all on Monday. Thanks so much for coming out to meet me. =) As soon as I get the chance to look up that tv show I will. I promise I...I wasn't dreaming. hehe.

Anyhow, I'm back in Paris todqy and leave for the Netherlands tomorrow. I'll be back home on the 12th.

yeah it was a cool meeting . i hope you had great time with your visit in France( how was Normandy ? ).

 

Normandy was amazing. Really brings it all into perspective. It was a bit on the chilly side, and a bit windy but amazing nonetheless. And New Star Con was awesome also. The Netherlands 501st was very accommodating in letting me use one of their TIE pilot uniforms.

But...all good things must have to come to an end at some point. Basically meaning..I leave for home tomorrow. I'll send you guys the pic I took from the Bombadier if you'd like. Just let me know who all wants it.
