Sth Bend, IN Visiting SouthBend suggested by X :-)

Hi Gang, I am on the road in Indiana,
visiting Bloomington, IN.
IU
Little 500 Bike race,

oh,

and the

Hoosier Alliance, has a Star Wars Club meeting.

and recent messaging with X, sugested that if I can visit South Bend,
I should let it be known.

and so,

I can be in South Bend this Sunday from around 1-pm to 7-pm,

keep in mind, I have no cell phone,
(yes, I know, I am a Luddite, or Amish, or something lol)

I will check back here for more info if there is any,
and
I will drive home via South Bend, no matter what,
just for fun!

Well, I am currently in Soutnh Bend,
and am en-route back to Chicago-Land,

Panaera has free wi-fi, so lunch and check to see if anyone is around.

after an exciting trip down South to IU and Bloomington.

The head of the IU visitor center, Carol, who I always visit
was not there, and I was told she is retiring, oh well,
hope to see her one last time during my June Trip, to Mini-U

Also, in Bloomington, was the Little 500 bike race,
60 year anniversary I think,

and rain filled, but kinda a repeat as
teter won the womens race for the 2-nd year in a row
and
The Cutters, won the Men-s race for the 5-th time in a row.

Also, got to hang out with the Hoosier Alliance Star Wars Fan Club
it was there usual fun meeting filled with fun Star Wars news,
we even had a random visitor.

Nothing like a Star Wars meeting at the Game Preserve and
Elk burgers at Bub-s (yes, Elk!)

oh well, am off to see what is up at Kings Age while I hang out at
Panaera for a while.

Be back with another post when I am checking in just before I
head back home.

Well, Panera kicked me out after 30 minutes,

guess I failed to read their opening page..lol

and so, we bid a fond farewell, to Panera,
the one in that Mall of Ireland, by 31 and 20,

Actually, I was searching for a Star Bucks there,
and, I guess my research that said there were three in the area of that mall,
was wrong.

and so, sports fans, back to 31 and into the heart of South Bend,
and
I finally find a Star Bucks, just the other side of 80, on 31.

and so, now I am camped out here,

and
am going back to Kings Age to finish what ever it was that I got
interupted on before at panaera, only I can not remember what I was doing

more before I go.

oh, current time in South Bend, per the interent, cause apparently
due to the economic down turn,
Star Bucks can no longer afford a public clock or spend the
money on a battery or electricity.

Next potential visit is...........uh, er,
gosh, probly in October,
tho I have some more vacation time in Late May,
but I am unsure about that.

 

MT - if you are looking at October, you should push it back a month so you can go to The 2011 Mutha.

 

Sad! I actually work in the Plaza you were at, but was up in Detroit for Motor City Comic Con this past weekend! And interestingly enough, you were actually brought up in conversation! All good, I promise =)
