Waru Poetry

In brightest day,
In darkest night,
No evil shall escape his sight.
For those whom worship evil's might.
Beware his power... The Waru´s golden light!

 

Jello unleashed his powers on me and asked for a Dutch poem. I normally don't do poetry in Dutch, as it isn't the most rhytmic language on earth (I prefer Latin or English), but oh well. I'd better get a big cookie for this one, Jellypums.

(Note, since I've been typing so much English, my Dutch spelling, mainly of the verbs, has gotten a bit odd. So if any other Dutch people spot mistakes, notify me :p)

[b]Waru[/b]

Verdwaald liep zij,
eenzaam in de donkere nacht.
Haar licht al lang
verdwenen.

Dan plotseling!
Staat zij stil en
Daar!
Een licht van levend goud!

En nu loopt zij,
niet meer eenzaam
in de donkere nacht.

Levend goud,
staat voor haar op wacht.

Crappy translation:

Lost she walked,
lonely in the dark night.
Her light already gone for a long time (<-translation sucks.)

Then suddenly!
She stops [lit: stands still] and
There!
A light of living gold!

And now she walks,
no longer lonely
in the datk night.

Living gold,
stands guard for her.
