We will have a guest!

Hey, gang.

Just thought that we will have a guest from the other side of "the pond" in March. John (or CitizenJohn as you may know him as), the CR for Fan Force: New York City will be in England from the 26th-30th of March. I will be meeting up with him while he is down in London, so if anyone is interested in coming along to meet him, feel free to do so...I'll see if he's willing to come up to the Midlands, so he can see what we're all about up here!

I think it's John's first time in UK, so he's picking the capital for landing Not sure what his full plans are yet, but if he's here to sight-see, can't see why he won't come up from South.

FF NYC are twinned with London btw So it'll be nice for the London folks to meet him.

Well, since the FFUKers are coming to LA in May, I'm super obligated to come to the midlands next year.

Get the list ready of pubs we'll be going to.

BTW, make sure John gets his fill of REAL ale.

No I'm not. However, I have been a competitive brewer for a number of years and appreciate all styles of beer.

CAMRA's rules are too stringent for my taste.

I also don't agree with the Reinheitsgebot. I traipsed all over Kaiserslautern trying to find something other than a hefe or pils when I was in Germany.

I can't wait to have a pint of Thomas Hardy's when I visit the UK next year. MMMmmm. Barley Wine.

 

you might like to take a week to travel around cornwal.

we went for a holiday and ended up in 15 brewerys (there are a couple more) and at least a pub a day lol

 

Hopefully Joe will me able to make a trip across the pond, late next year....
