Yeah, I know you're joking, but political stupidity aside, NY had four tornadoes hit Long Island in the span of a few hours on a Saturday in mid-November. Three were EF-0, and the fourth was an EF-1.

All I remember was the sky became that ugly, severe storm cell bruised grey color very fast, and it was quite windy with torrential rain.

The snow that hit the mid-Atlantic states last night-today missed us. Hoping everyone is okay.

 

Big Earthquake is in the pocket of Silicon Valley!!!

 

I hope that's an unnecessary warning. I saw the story about the eruption earlier but the warning wasn't mentioned at that point.

 

Definitely looks like a mild Tsunami hit the Bay Area coast. Waves penetrating river mouths and strong currents in inlets.

 

It is sleet/snowing here as I type! Always so damn weird to see. This is the south bruh.

 

This weekend's Nor'easter is barely brushing us here in DC. 100 years ago they were not so lucky:

The weather forecast for Florida is typical Florida:

“This weekend be on the lookout of frozen falling iguanas.”

 

Still dealing with blizzard conditions here and that will likely continue for another 8 hours or so.

It's supposed to also snow here between 6-12 inches on Wednesday..just had to move my brother's flight back to CA to Tuesday so he can get out before that.

 

P-town, Cape Cod

 

6-12 inches of Snow on Ground Hog Day.

And that critter will probably not see a shadow this year.

 

I was trying to think what is the most snow I have ever gotten. I know school was once canceled for 3 days cause of snow. I do always feel a tad bad when snow storms hit on the weekend. Half the fun was missing school as a kid. Although it almost certainly leads to fewer accidents as many people are off work anyway on the weekends

 

They cancel schools for the "possibility" of heavy snow anymore.

With parents needing to arrange for childcare, they have to hedge the bet much earlier.

The 4am radio announcement don't cut it anymore.

 

Still blizzard conditions, still okay.

May that be true for everyone on Kenna’s path.

 

My CT friend is in the path as well.

 

Here in the UK Scotland got the worst of that storm. We just had some gusty wind in the London area.

 

24 inches and counting. digging through 4 to 5 foot drifts.
