My take is that Janson is the oldest and joined first (but after Porkins) since he was established at Tierfon before the Battle of Yavin. Tycho and Wedge are about the same age, but Wedge joined first. Hobbie and Biggs joined after Wedge (on the Rand Ecliptic remember?) and are maybe one year younger than Wedge. Maybe Janson is too, because now i seem to remember something about there ages in an Allston book or something.

The books, I think because I haven't read many of the comics. SPeaking of which, in one of the comics after RotJ it gives Wedge's rank as Captain. Does this seem wrong to anyone else, because I thought Wedge was a Commander in TESB.

Forgot about that Yellow Aces bit, whoops. Some of the info is in the comics, some in the books.

It was Commander Antilles in RoTJ. I think it was in that promo comic that came out in Kellog cereal boxes.

is this when they became pilots for the Rebellion or what? Wedge was smuggling for them long (two years) before he became a pilot. My "when they became a Rebel Pilot" order looks like this...

    1. Porkins (Before Yavin)
    2. Janson (Before Yavin)
    3. Wedge (After Smuggling, but before Yavin)
    4. Hobbie (Ecliptic)
    5. Biggs (")
    6. Tycho (after Yavin)

Mirax, why can I can only find your Temple to Wedge as a link on this page? It isn't listed as a topic on the topic page even after I post there. Am I just not looking??

    UP, up, and up!

    Okay, here's a sticky situation:

In all the books Tycho is described as having brown hair, but in most of the comics, he's blonde. What do you think happened for them(comic book artists) to change his hair?

By the way, Porkins joined the same time as Biggs and Hobbie. It is in I, Jedi. Corran stays in the same room as they did before the Battle of Yavin. They etched their initials in the wall. And I believe the saying, "Empire or us, no compromise." or something like that.

And for the record it should be:

    Antilles/Janson '00

    :p

You could be wrong. Just because Porkins etched him name in a wall with Wedge and Biggs doesn't necessarily mean that he joined at the same time. It just means that he was in the same room or they were really good friends.

Maybe Tycho just has really really light brown or dark blond hair. *shrugs*
