NOTE: General Obi-Wan Kenobi (GOWK) has been banned from DCI and from our games in Des Moines. Please do not bring him in your squads. If you do, you will be required to replace him with another figure.

 

I'll do my best to keep this updated. Thought it'd be nice if we had an actual schedule with dates and descriptions to refer people to from week to week. Eventually I'll edit in better descriptions of the various events (ie what Fun Day means) and when I get a site up and running post a link to this there.

 

Feb. 15th is in honor of Valentine day, so bring your favorite couple.
Han/Leia, Luke/Mara, Jania/Jagged and anyone else you can come up with.
Still 200pts.

FYI that one Ames dude is coming on the 22nd.

 

So on the 22nd we're doing a "Play whatever you want" day, so you can play multiple armies and people without a tourney setting

 

This Sunday we are doing Competitive 150 point squads, so bring your biggest and baddest!!

Sorry Dajuan I'm looking at playing Mandos. Only because I've never used Mandalore the Ultimate.
Most likely the first and only time I'll play him.

 

You can play Klingons whenever you want. It really only bothers me when the fanboys bring them every freaking time we play them.

 

Well I'm not playing Mando's again for a long time. Cost to much and don't do that much.

How about doing 100pt army in 2 weeks using only common/uncommon pieces?

Sorry I missed today's games.
The Kidsfest was very busy. The kids really loved Vader and the Stormtrooper.

 

We're playing regular 200's tomorrow.

 

No minis at Jay's next week because it's Easter and he's closed. Hothie and I are inviting people over to our place from noon on that day for minis, Wii, other games, and food. Let me know if you're interested in coming and I will PM you our address.

 

Just letting everyone know we are planning on having a bbq at our place on Monday the 25th. We will be playing lots of games, including play-testing some of the new stats for the new set, as well as the ever popular Wii. People can come over whenever and stay til whenever. Food will likely be burgers on the grill and home-made potato salad. (Yummy!!!) Hope to see you there!

 

Just letting you all know what we have planned coming up:

Friday July 3rd we are planning on having a Jedi Academy semi-booster draft at our place. Since most people have that day off, so we were thinking bbq and games here.

Sunday July 12th will be the official booster draft at Jays. Normal buy 2 for $25, build a 150 point army, prize support, etc.

Also on Saturday August 1st we were thinking of running a large Clone Wars scenario at jays.We are hoping for at least 12 people that day for what we hope will be a most memorable day.

 

Order 66 is this SUNDAY.

 

No minis again this week. We'll start up again next weekend.

 

Just letting everyone know Lonnie sold his (and Austin's, I think) collections to Jay. I guess they wanted to get a Xbox360.

Looks like we'll shoot for the end of September for going to Omaha. It will be on a Sunday, as requested by the Omahans we talked to at Gencon.

We're shooting for 10/4 for our Order 66 battle in Omaha. The plan right now is to meet at about 9am and carpool there and be back that evening.
