Have noticed there is a collectors tap cafe version 12 coming into play but mike has it locked at the moment

 

and I will open it at some point today

 

Has anyone else seen the new banner and color scheme on the main page?

I like the banner, but UGH! the color scheme is wreaking havoc on my eyes!

 

It is a bit on the red side, but I have seen worse. The pink Valentines Day ones usually are!

I can see what you mean though it is abit annoying

 

My main problem is that there is very little contrast between the board names color and the red background.

 

Or any links for that matter

Lucky I am going by instinct because the style sheet for links is bad lol

 

I have a some new ideas for the next banner contest..

Whoever decides on the color scheme for the new banner, please do NOT follow the example of the main page!

Anyone else tried to get a home equity loan and discovered how freakin' long these things take?!? We've had approval for over a week now, but didn't get word for how much until yesterday and was told that we wouldn't be able to do anything until the money comes through which will likely not be until the 15th of June or later! I want my basement done so I can finally display my SW stuff correctly!

 

I did a while back RS and I think that it took a few weeks to get the ball rolling...

 

I tell you what people need to voice our concerns about the main page banner cause that orange and red just does not go at all. If sometimes like me you are on the boards quite late at night it would drive you

 

I am going to put something on it in Mod Squad if someone hasn't already. It's giving me a headache. Regular users can see if there is a thread over in Comms to voice their discontent..

 

it's over! my last full day of teaching. the students will clean out lockers and check out tomorrow morning, and that's it. by noon i'll officially be on vacation!

 

Evening folks. I just cancelled my Vader bust order with Star Wars Shop. I found a canadian store who was also selling them and the shipping is much less.....not to mention the duty.

 

Has anyone got a spare key to unlock the new tap cafe?

 

Nope, only Mike and LAJ have the keys.

They'll unlock the doors to the new place in a few more posts.

 

So when this place reaches 5000 posts then all the doors will open?

 

When this cafe has 5000 posts, it will close, and the other will open.

Well, I have to go mow the lawn...ugh, time for non-stop sneezing and watery eyes...
