London, ON We're All Stars 2009

Hey everyone we've been invited back to the We're All Stars for 2009.

Date: Monday January 19, 2009
Time: not 100% confirmed but should be the same as last year.
There in costume at 9:00 AM untill 12:00.

There is a max of 12 people that can go, based on fire codes. So if we could now how many people from London are going then we can say how many people from out side of London we can have.

For anyone who was not here last year.
The We're All Stars is a celeberty fund raiser for children with disabilities, hosted by the Children's Hospital. It is in two parts, dinner and auction is in the evening.

Here's our part.
In the morning the childern are entertianed with displays of achievments from other disabled children, meet Star Wars characters and a magic show. They have lunch and then hear speaches from the celeberties and get thier autographs.


Last year we kind of held back their schedual because it was so much fun and the children just did not want to leave the star wars people and go onto the magic show. If you love working with children and the disabled then you don't want to miss this.

 

I would definately like to go.

Is this still happening? I need to get the day off (which shouldn't be a problem, I just had to wait until our schedules were available for the quarter)

 

I'll be moving back to london sometime next week so i may be able to attend the event. I have a new costume in the works related to the force unleashed games.

 

Yes this event is a go. We need at least 6 people and no more then 12. So I'll start contacting the inactive members to see who is going. If you want to go and can get the morning off work please post it.

I have confirmed that I have the day off.

 

I plan to be there in my X-wing pilot uniform. I'm still altering the flightsuit, but I hope to have that done this afternoon.

 

I'm unable to attend due to a media job for a chocolatier.

 

Oh! hey Rebellaka can Chistine use your green robe again?

 

Will anyone be bringing a camera?

 

I am but if you want to bring one too that's cool.

 

I'll plan to bring my digital SLR camera. It's not exactly pocket-size, so I'll need a safe place to stow it while it's not in use.

 

I'll bring the green robe tonight.

What a great way to kick off the new year with a great event.

 

I agree. It was so much fun. I can't wait to do something like this again!

 

I tried to upload my pictures to my computer, but the software for my camera is giving me issues. I'll work on that and post them as soon as I can.
