What’s the saddest death in all of Star Wars?

Shmi Skywalker and Leia are the saddest for me. Qui-Gon's death is sad. And Master Yoda.

And I also wish they hadn't killed off Zam Wesell so soon.

I’d have made Padme’s death my number one saddest, but its really the dirge that follows with her being carried by pole bears to her final resting place that always makes me tear up.

 

Suddenly I realize that I must have pole bears at my own funeral.

 

This is the saddest death of all :'(.

 

Kids and Adults w/kid like hearts: You killed my Teddy Bear! Oh Teddy! Sobs.

 

Qui-Gon’s death is quite sad. He’s one of few Jedi I like. His thinking in Master and Apprentice by Claudia Gray is so wise:
“I’m coming to believe that we must all interpret the [Jedi] Code for ourselves,” Qui-Gon said, “or it ceases to be a living pact and becomes nothing but a prison cell.”

 

Shmi, Owen and Beru

They didn't choose the life that led to their deaths.

Add to this all those that died on Alderaan, and the other planets destroyed by SKB.

Jedi Younglings and the Jakku villagers too.

 

I just finished reading Thrawn ascendancy greater good and I'm gking to have to add the death of Thrass to the list.

 

Ben Solo’s death was sad, with him the true blood of Skywalkers and Solos is no more.
