I am ok with that as long as he has short hair I don't want him looking like Thor.
Get actors who Disney knows and want to be in it. That being said if he is a Jedi he will be one of the busiest actors around with Avengers, Thor & Star Wars busy busy busy.

 

Most Jedi's have long hair. Hemsworth should also.

Well I don't think it should be an aesthetic sort of choice anyway, so why should it just be women commenting? In any case, Sumpter would be someone interesting to consider for a Skywalker. Not so much for a Solo, maybe, and I kind of feel like that's who the main character would be. But yeah, Sumpter is a decent actor.

Yes, yes - I know he is Star Trek, but if you can't seperate an actor from a character then you probably shouldn't be watching movies in the first place.

Wow, Nathan Hamill looks looks like he could be a clone of Mark Hamill, rather than his son. I also nominate Jeremy Shada as a young Skywalker!

 

Shia Lebeouf, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Andrew Garfield, Jackson Rathbone, Matthew Lewis all as young jedi, skywalker or not

 

so what can kind of character would Nathan play? i mean could he play an older version of his father's character?

 

I would rather Mark Hamill play Luke, but Nathan Hamill could still play Lukes son....

 

He's a body builder, not a Jedi. Please, no the guy is too big for the part. Jedi's aren't ripped because they use the force. He's not right for the part and would look silly as Luke's son.
