Jessica Jones S3E9
What We Do in the Shadows. This is one of the best things ever. Burnt out on vampires? Not this show.
Rerun of Cops.
Warrior. I tuned into this because it has billing as a martial arts show. So far the fighting scenes are not good, but the rest of the drama and story or great so I keep tuning in.
Chang Cheh’s The Flag of Iron (1980), a remake of his 1971 knife fu Republic-era opus, The Duel.
I enjoy them both for different reasons.
Rain Delay Coverage for the Rays At Yankees on Fox Sports Sun from what I heard the grounds crew just removed the tarp there will be baseball!
I've watched the first two episodes of History Channel's "Unidentified: Inside America's UFO Investigation" after DVR'ing them. If you're a skeptic, I can't imagine this series will do anything to change your mind. If you're a believer, you'll have no problem buying into the conspiracy theories. The first two episodes talked about a US Naval exercise off the coast of San Diego about a decade or so ago where they responded to weird signals on their radars and scrambled jets to go after them. They referred to it as a flying "Tic Toc"; that zoomed around at speeds about a dozen times the speed of sound. As usual with these UFO documentaries, the most you see is shoddy video of a light that dances around the sky at high speed. I don't think I'll watch any more episodes until the final one.
On its surface Warrior seems to be a pastiche of sports movie clichés, but man does it execute them expertly. That ending... it gets me every time.
I'm currently watching the vids from my various YouTube subscriptions. Up now, Toy Galaxy. Great channel for the plastic inclined.
Milo Murphy’s Law on my iPad.
Winter Soldier is on. I just finished off Warrior. As a drama I love it, but as a martial arts series it's mostly bad fight choreography. There have been a couple of showdowns I looked forward to, and they were ok, but ultimately it just needs better details. It has been greenlit for a 2nd season and I will tune in.
Entertainment Tonight weekend.
Watched a great show on the Nile River on PBS.
Women's World Cup: Spain vs. USA
NFL Network Top Ten
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
I watched that too.
Spider-Man was the guest.
My husband is watching Spongebob in the same room.
I know, he tried to pull a Graham Norton and get the Spiderling to reveal more spoilers.
Tintin: Cigars of the Pharaoh: Part 1
Bouncing between BBC News and CNBC while I wait for the Italy/China Womens World Cup match (coverage starts in about an hour here in the UK).
