John Lennon interview with Tom Snyder from April 1975.
The US govt fought hard to kick John out the country ostensibly due to a cannabis charge from 1968 in London.
Anyhow, I wish John had not fought so hard to stay in the US. I wish the despicable people who run the country would have expelled him.
If he could have gone back to England or Japan or literally anywhere else in the world, he would not have been shot four times in the back by an American Christian Psycho.
John had a right to be scared, obviously, and I wish he would have left New York City while he had a chance to live.
BBC4 are showing Bob Ross' Joy of Painting every night , they are very relaxing . I knew about him but I never saw them in the 80s , not sure they actually showed them here then.

My annual Independence Day viewing of "1776". Members of Congress are drifting in, led by new delegate Dr. Lyman Hall of Georgia. And here comes Hopkins, demanding a rum.
I just finished watching Independence Day-saster. One of the fine gems of the golden age of B level action disaster movies from the middle part of last decade.
I'll be moving on to my annual July 4th viewing of Independence Day pretty soon. AMC has a marathon of it all day today.
I tried to watch this earlier today with the Rifftrax commentary, but my DVD malfunctioned. I'll run it through the cleaner at South Plainfield Library on Monday, and try again.
I don't know what that means.
