Ankylosaurs were my favorite, just because “nature’s tank” was always a good way to describe them…

…And because they’re only real Zoids toy was this baby:

I'd have opted for the lazy "all of them"!

For all the much-discussed downsides of the "internet age", one wonderful thing (at least I as I perceive it) is the vastly increased accessibility of specialized news, and science news, to lay people. As someone who has been a fan of dinos (and their contemporaneous cool neighbors, and to some extent prehistoric animals in general) I am delighted that today, a lay person fan like myself gets a more or less steady stream of news on new dino discoveries, etc. As foolish as this is, I have to admit that in my younger days I kinda/sorta thought the age of major dino discovery was over, that we'd made all the big exciting finds. How very very very very wrong I was - thankfully!

    That's Guiledart.

    That's his animation model.

That's his toy. Why the color of the lips is so drastically different is a mystery.

I voted for pterosaurs even though they are not technically dinosaurs. They've just always fascinated me. Now, I wanna watch a documentary about them.

There’s just something so great about the Pacycephalosaurs. The crazy domed head combined with a beaked face and then a pretty unremarkable body. A good mix. I think it’s why I like tauntauns too.

It was shocking for me to learn that birds are theropods, the only lineage to survive the mass extinction of several millions years ago.
Even more shocking is the fact that humans with our anatomical characteristics have been around for less than a million years, while dinosaurs were there for more than a hundred million years before the extinction.
Human civilization spans for a ridiculously tiny fraction of the history of life on Earth.

Think of the following: the film Jurassic Park portrays both brachiosaurus and tyrannosaurus (specifically, t. rex, as you know). The brachiosaurus lived in the late Jurassic period, appr. 154-150 million years ago. The t. rex lived in the late cretaceous era, appr. 73-66 million years ago. In other words, in terms of geological time, we humans are closer to the t. rex, than the t. rex was to the brachiosaurus.
