What brings you on this fine day to the JCC?

A very hectic school year comes to an end and I got my Dutch teaching diploma finally.

After being with MsLanna on skype yesterday I deceided to check out some places here on the boards. Places, I had no time to hang around that much the past months.

 

I came for the fanfic, but I stay for the amazing people!

Greetings new friends and enemies..lol. This is my first missive coming to you from my master's lair. In an attempt to share with you all, I will use my powers...secretly disguised as wordly wisdom:

Mostly the fanfic, but the EU discussion and RPF are fun too.

 

I'm a shy person by nature. I'm an English girl stuck in a French environment. Do you know how hard that is to find SW fans in this city with those two things? So, yeah originally I joined long ago for that, to have a place to discuss SW and hang out with people who loved this universe as much as I did. I missed the place and well with all the talk about an eventual C5, I figured I should properly get back on track in the SW community before jumping on a plane and land at the convention with like a total black hole sucking me in the minute I enter the place. Now, almost a week later, I simply want to get active on this board to discuss SW, get reacquainted with the EU (because that library of mind seriously needs to be updated) and make new friends.

Oh and yes I also have a tendency to haunt the old threads and bring them back on the front pages... sue me.

 

I came back to reconnect with some people I haven't talked to in a long time.

 

Some of them are still here. A lot of them left when I did in 2006.

 

Skiara: Thanks for the link, only that would require an airplane. I live in Quebec, the French province in Canada. Montreal has a FF and I've meet them a while back when I was here on the first round. They're some awesome people, Ottawa's gang too. The only problem is that a lot of the SW fans in Quebec live in closets or are on Sith Clan, we're a small gang on TF.N - at least that used to be the case back in the days.

 

Looking to get into Star Wars based-gaming and interact with fellow fans.

First came here after finding the Star Wars: Battlefront 3 thread in the Video Games area through a Google search, then noticed that there were lots of other things around the boards. Specifically the fanfic, though I haven't looked extensively through the others yet.

And...yes, the "Games" bit was left off in the poll...

 

I'm here because TFN pays me SO MUCH to be here.

 

I'm here day in, day out, because I LOVE this place.

 

I have to say it's nice to be back. I don't really have all that much interest in Star Wars anymore but I enjoy the conversations I've had in the other forums.
