Ok at the serious risk of getting a hiding from Nik for not choosing the blatantly obvious TK armour, I was wondering what the rest of the Londoners thought I should wear.

I haven't put up a poll because I might miss something out but there must be a particular costume that's missing from the London group, can you tell me what YOU think I should get/make?

Well, I think you should be original and do a costume that not many people wear

Something like Imperial Red Guard, or Clonetrooper
You could try a Shadowtrooper, or Imperial Pilot

    Or invent your own.....like me

I'm not familiar with Shadow Troopers - you got a pic of them?

[EDIT] Actually scratch that I just found a pic - NICE IDEA!

I most whole heartedly agree with a Shadowtrooper it would be nice to see something different from Stormtroopers it's going to be fun to help you build that :D

I thought you wanted to do a Boba / Jango Fett though? or are we doing that as well?

What about Royal Guard I know where you can get the boots hand made ;)

Shadow Trooper would be excellent - I may have pics of them in the SW books. They were the unit set up by Crix Madine weren't they before he defected to the Rebels?

Edit: Hang on! I am getting myself confused - Shadow Troopers are not linked with Madine. Bio for Shadow Troopers is here - they are clones.
I am thinking of the Storm Commandos! Madine's Imp troopers were Storm Commandos, seen here.

I am trying to locate a pic of the Imperial Knights from the new SW Legacy comic series (set 100 years after the New Jedi Order) - now that is a costume - a mix of Vader, Royal Guard and Jedi - and they have lightsabers. If I can't find one, I'll have to scan, but quite a few people have seen it and gone "Now that is a costume!"

I was thinking Imperial guard but if you're a tall bloke with a menacing face to carry it off, Tim has the right idea

    Antares Draco!

    EDIT: Here's another Knight

thats one sweet cossie - and you get to hold a lightsaber too instead of one of those uncivilised E-11's.....sabers rule!

A bit like Clone Wars Obi-Wan?

You HAVE to do a Darth Revan costume. When done right, it looks AWSOME. And I have only ever seen one other. Actually, stuff it. Thats now my next costume project :D

Dam - why didn't I just keep my mouth shut and do a Reven costume in secret [face_thinking]

Actually I'm really into that Red and black armour but for now the shadow trooper is still my fave!

They have wee fans inside their helmets for cooling :)

I remember talk about cooling gel filled vests though at the ooooooold UK Garrison site but I don't know if anything was ever explored!

I've been looking at cooling vests for the wookiee costume. They're not bad, about £100, and last for about 3 hours, maintaining you body temperature. You just stick them in a freezer overnight, then keep them in a cool bag on the day till you need to wear it.

I couldn't even begin to immagine how hot you would get in a fuzzball outfit :p

Dont worry, althought I like the shape it's a little too Warhammer40K for my liking.

I'm still torn between the Shadow and the Red [face_thinking]
