PT What did the clones do with the Jedi and their lightsabers?

I know it sounds quite morbid, but it's a question I've been pondering for quite some time.

Lightsabers to Palpatine. Bodies to Graves Registration for identification, followed disposal in the nearest star.

 

Yeah he'd want to recycle the kyber crystals for sure.

 

I sort of had a suspicion that he would want to perform experiments on them? To maybe develop further knowledge of the Force etc?

 

Now you're getting into ST territory. Personally, I think it'd be more a case of "kill my Jedi enemies DEAD, then move on to taking control of the masses".

 

They burned the lightsabers, they destroyed it. Including Yoda's lightsaber.

I can't remember where I read it, but I vaguely recall lightsabers of deceased Jedi being kept in the Temple somewhere.

 

I believe it was in vader comic book that they were collected and being destroyed. I believe the death star its lazer is powered by kyber crystals. Not sure. It's been a while.

 

They burn them in a Vader comic if you are a take them as seriously as the movies.

 

I vaguely recall reading this in one of the Last of the Jedi books. When Ferus Olin broke into the temple, though granted I haven't actually read it since like middle school.

 

In the novel about Galen Erso (Catalyst) it is more or less suggested that they re-used the Kyber-crystals from the lightsabers for research. At least Lyra wonders where they suddenly got all the crystals in that particular shape from.

 

Bodies are tagged and probably secured for identification and eventual disposal. Lightsabers probably collected and handed to imperial authorities

 

They rebuild General Grievous so he can add those lightsabers to his collection.
