This is just a curiosity thing.

Personally, I think it's stupid. Will they be on a future DVD? Probably. But if I want to watch it more than once, I have to download it EVERY SINGLE TIME (which, on a modem, is painful, even using the low bandwidth version).

Also, I think it's great publicity for the movie to have people sending it to each other over the 'net. Yeah, everyone knows SW, so publicity doesn't matter. WRONG! After some people's disappoint over TPM, publicity does matter. Some people need a confidence booster that AOTC will be a quality flick, and showing some of the behind the scenes stuff might do that.

I say might, becuase TPM behind the scenes stuff looked cool, too. But come on. . . Jango Fett? I think that'd get even SW novices fired up about AOTC.

    So. . . what's the opinion?

I hate it, but it's not a perfect system. It just adds more headaches when converting them into MPEGs.

It is extremely dumb. It's not like I didn't try to see it in theaters. I saw a crapload of movies this winter INCLUDING Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings and didn't see it at all.

Yeah, I haven't seen either trailer at the cinema. And it bugs me that you can't find any of the behind the scenes stuff, or the R2: Beneath the Dome spoof anywhere else.

i guess it's designed to make us all the more eager to get the DVD when it comes out.

I gave up after #8 so I have a few to watch when i buy the Movie.

Yeah, I can't stand this. It forces me to download more stuff from tf.net and that place can be really really slow. (I'm talking Ep2 commercials). Very annoying I must say.

any files from the net are saved in there just copy and paste or move them with windows explorer. theres always a way around "no right click" java.

MasterYoda13, the files are in Apple's Quicktime 5 format. These file types have an option to not allow the viewer to download the file to their own computer, and this is what starwars.com is doing.

Personally I dont mind because I have cable, so the movie starts streaming in like 5 seconds. However, I still think they should have let u download it.

But for ppl who want it on their own computer, there's plenty of places where u can get this stuff.. just do some searches on google and peer to peer programs. You'll find them.

It was nice while I could get it. Windows XP stops that. :(

    I hate it.

    Why do they do this?

Don't they WANT it to be easy to see their ADVERTISING and share it with other people?

hhmmmm.... yes the no save policy is a little crude, byt all you have to do is go into your Temp Internet folder and copy it from there... I know some users cant do that..... but at least i saved a few ;)
