What happened between RO and ANH?

    First off, I loved the ending of Rogue One. Darth Vader being defeated by a combination of non-force bearing ("muggles", if you will) humans was something special, I must say. I am curious about what happened between the films. Did Vader's star destroyer somehow follow Leia's ship after it's jump into hyperspace? Or did he find it at Tatooine at a later date by following a lead or something?

    I believe it to be heavily implied that the Tantive IV drops out of hyperspace above Tatooine and lo and behold, Vader is right behind them.
