And yet again I can not comment on one of Mark's posts without the fear of getting banned here for a long long time.

 

Actually, I have learned something today!

It's like looking in a mirror for you isn't dear!?!

 

I don't usually see my reflection in the mirror!

(Or is that because I'm looking through a window)

 

Now that would explain the emotioncon anyway.

 

This weekend, I mostly learned, that when my bloke gets drunk and does something stupid, it is very very easy to make him feel bad so he spends the next 24 hrs apologising, and paying for it.

 

Don't act like you don't enjoy it, Vez!

Today I learned that some of the classes I'm taking are waaaaaaay over my head!

 

Maybe you should grow a bit more then

 

Today I learned when a small child is alone in a room, goes quiet then says "Uh oh!" you're probably going to be fishing out a Marmite sandwich from the VCR for the next half an hour

 

I've learnt S_f collects antiques like VCR's.

We have a DVD player and a Video player because we have a LOT of videos, some of which you can't replace on DVD because they haven't been released... mainly b movies and wierd horrors!

 

Thats why i'm transferring all me vids to dvd- eg my Guns n Roses live at The Ritz which I have not seen in many a year- early 90's i think. i love it as its so raw and powerful and ya hear every wrong note or beat.

 

VHS is dying, buts its not dead yet

 

OMG ! GnR at the Ritz, I have that but my stupid parants taped over the first song! I thought it was 1987, way early.

 

Aye- it was recorded about then in the 80's but I only got to see it maybe very late 80's/early 90's. Tis very good. Once I have put it on DVD and its ok then I could send ya a copy.

 

THat would be great! Make me feel young again.

 

Today I learned that I really DO suck at Chemistry and Calculus, and I hate their midterms equally.

 

Today I learned that I really suck at programming in Java, and my lecturer knows it, so he decides to bite my head off in class! Go figure, huh?

 

I learned today that my PC loves to randomly just make things stop working just for the hell of it, I really must start building a new one next year...

 

Awww Mark, I'm sorry to hear that.

Sometimes instructors suck.

If I knew Java I would be willing to help out, but I don't for now.

 

Well, I ordered a text book from Amazon last night, so I hope that will help me out.

The thing that sucks about it is that this Java course is a core module that I have to pass to progress to the second year -- Which is where the decent stuff that I want to learn (networking and web development) is. Can you see why I'm getting a little bit stressed!

So, that's one thing I learned today. The other is, the council is keeping me employed for another month! So, yay for me!

I learned that I have to take a basic computer course now, it's a core course but I was suppose to be able to test out of it and move onto the my networking classes sooner, but no, the dean now said since I am a IT major, I have to take it. That means 8 weeks of learning crap I already know.

 

I've learnt that there's always one thing that will kick when you're down and that's LIFE !
