If I remember correctly, the Chris Pine character was rumoured to be Steve's look-alike grandson or grandnephew, justifying the casting. I guess we'll see as we get more information...

It would be like Captain America hooking up with Peggy's niece. Keeping it in the family.

Steve Trevor's genes are "above average."

I suppose Steve wouldn't know he had a son, considering his time period, he would have most likely been married as it would be the gentlemen thing to do.

Or maybe he knew he had a son; but Diana didn't. Like in the movie, Mafia!

WONDER WOMAN 2 Setting And Title Seeming Revealed In New Logo Unveiled By Geoff Johns
    [IMG]

Warner Bros. recently registered a number of domain names for Wonder Woman 2, one of which was Wonder Woman 1984. Now, it appears as if that's going to be the title of the sequel because Geoff Johns has shared a logo for the movie which reads, "WW84." This could, of course, be a piece of viral marketing but if nothing else, it pretty much confirms that Cold War setting in, well, 1984 obviously!

just a crazy notion but the WW abbreviation can stand for Wonder Woman but also World War 84! With Wonder Woman. There's no reason why the DCEU continuity has to conform to real world history, maybe Wonder Woman was straight up in the middle of a East/West 84 not-so-cold War.

Or perhaps keeping it from being a not - so - cold war.

I wonder how public her involvement will be in this film. Batman v Superman and Justice League implied she remained under the radar until Luthor's plot forced her hand, so to speak.

Maybe he's playing his own son/grandson ala the Steve Trevors from the television series?

Is it a trick of the light, or does he have a little white in his hair?

JR being on one of those screens a bit of an easter egg nod to Steve Trevor's return?

    Just a thought...

Seeing as it's 1984, will we have SW jokes in the sequel?

I missed the connection with that one. Growing up I watched Dallas at my Grandmother's house. I don't remember any references to Wonder Woman or the side characters in it.

None that I remember either but the other famous Dallas moment besides the whole Who Shot JR? story was when his brother Bobby stepped out of the shower after having been dead for a couple of seasons.

no , I know a lot of people think that and there was some crazy stuff in the 70s , but the 80s had all that awful shoulder pads on women and those bloated jackets on men .

So with WW fresh on my mind going into BvS, she spoke fondly of a past friend who his heavily implied to be Chris Pine's character. How is he alive and will be killed off again for emotional impact? His sacrifice had a lot of weight to it and now him being back feels a little cheap, but I guess I should take it with a grain of salt concerning the DC universe.

I'd say the chances are incredibly slim that they bring him back to life.

I imagine his appearing will have something to do with Circe or another prominent magic user trying to bait Diana with a vision. I dunno, but I don't think Patty Jenkins is going to gut the most important moment of her most important film, just because. This isn't a Jean Grey "kill her-revive her-kill her-revive her, and actually it never happened" situation.

It's either a grand child or something
Cheetah manufactured given she's the villain (Villainess?) of the second film
