To be fair to BDW - he was REALLY sick at C-3, I think he'd actually had hip surgury or some such. That's why he was late and out of sorts - he COULD have (and given his declining health) probably should have canceled the personal autograph session and only done pre-signed peices.

I didn't get to BDW line, but I did buy a pre signed pic of his. When I was in Tem's line. His booth was next to BDW, so I got to see him anyway. He looked pretty tired on Sunday.

I guess you never know what the story is. I'm sure we have all been sick to the point of death and had no other choice but to fulfill our obligations. It's hard when you are sick or in pain and have to put on a smile for 50,000 strangers.

for me it's the chance to catch up with friends. Enjoy the atmosphere of the event and have a good time. I love seeing the costumes and taking pictures of them. Getting to see and hear people who have worked on the films and how things were done. The R2 builders room was great and the chance to check out the Real R2-D2 was a highlight for me......It's so hard to choose one thing. I came back from C3 with a lot of things. I love the SWAG that's there and the chance to get a few things for my collection that I can't get on this side of the world. but of all the things I brought back with me the photos of the people I met and hung out with are by far the best. Roll on C4....let the lines begin

My brother and I were in the food court and we saw paramedics taking him out in a wheelchair.

Don't know about the wheelchair, but I can confirm the not feeling well part. Anne from OfficialPix was kinda his escort, and she did tell me that he had just had surgery. Yeah, maybe he could have acted like he was having a good time, we've all done that, but well, there ya go.

What I am going to love, as it should be (barring any unforseen circumstances) and will be my first Celebration, is viewing all the hot, young dudes in proper Jedi uniform. I am only looking, not touching. Be still my heart.
