Curling with guns.
Real-life Blood Bowl. It's like American football, but with more chainsaws and steamrollers.
Ice cross downhill - when it's too boring to skate on flat ice
Blernsball. After people realize that Baseball is as boring as mom and apple pie, they'll finally jazz it up.
Underwater five-a-side basket-weaving.
The team with the most intricate baskets at the end of the competition, which lasts for seven and a half weeks, have lots of baskets they can now use.
The losing team is sacrificed when starving great white sharks are added to the pool.
Sensible losing teams make baskets big enough to hide in so that they don't get bitten in half quite so quickly.
The world is baying for very patient slow-burning blood sports. You only have to look at modern day politics to know this is true.
I think it’s also pretty decently watched thanks to aggressive Premier League television deals and no thanks to MLS signing exclusivity away to the ****ing ESPN app.
Anyway, the next big sport is clearly competitive truffle hunting. Hours and hours of endless thrills as pigs run around sniffing the ground, trying to find the most truffles. The reward? A fungus, and glory.
That should be the name of it @Ramza:
La truffe et la gloire
Biathlon. To be fair, I don’t know why you don’t dominate it already. Most kids from the Midwest have been in training for this all their lives, by just travelling to school in the winter.
Given the popularity of unboxing videos, it'll probably be that.
I know it's an Arlon thread, but still kinda blown away by how casual and terrible this is
How many girls you hear play rugby?
Tons. Women's Rugby is huge here in Australia. Even more huge in New Zealand. Do yourself a favour and read about the sport.
Mindless trivia: dogs are actually used for hunting truffles. Pigs are too difficult to work with, once they find a truffle it is very difficult to stop them from eating it. Pigs are typically used for tourists.
I know more women than men who play rugby. Don't know about girls though.
Fascinating. Now that I think of it, isn't there some sort of commercial that came out recently showing girls playing various sports? I swear rugby was one of them. The fact they would even advertise that is kinda cool
Edit: well New Zealand has the All Black's and their Haka. So of course they'd play there. Im well aware if them. But from an American perspective it's not mainstream enough yet here
Competitive Calvinball, you heard it here first.
World championship Staring
"Are you drunk? It's like Polish handball!”
Or just live in America
C'mon, Paxti is way too old to bring that sport to the masses. You need a sport that young, vibrant people are flocking to in hordes: Pickeball.
I would've thought it'd be more difficult to stop the pigs from eating the tourists.
Came here to say this. Damn you.
Fan Controlled Football
Just finished Season 1 and Season 2 is planned for later this year.
