The name "Jedi Civil War" for the conflict of KOTOR 1. It wasn't any more of a Jedi civil war than the Hundred-Year Darkness, thr Great Sith War, the KOTOR 2 conflict, or the New Sith Wars. "War of the Star Forge" was a much better name.

 

If by ancient ancient you mean the first evidence of pottery Egypt than yes, the oldest pottery shard found in egypt are from around 10,000 bc and the first pyramid dates dates from 2670's bc(built by Djoser).

What's I always found amazing is the last known significant population of wooly mammouth(on wrengler islan part.of modern russia) where still alive when the pyramids where built.

Even though I love Dark Empire, I'm glad it's not canon any more. Like many people, I was never wild about Luke turning to the dark side or Palpatine returning.

Not to derail the thread, but is it safe to say that reading those novels shouldn't be a priority then? 9 novels is quite a commitment.

To be more on topic, I will say that I never liked the idea of Anakin being knighted 6 months before Revenge of the Sith. You are telling me that he had to fight in a deadly war (after losing his arm to Count Dooku and watching Jedi get slaughtered no less) for over 2 years before the council finally decided he was worthy of knighthood? I know that raw power is not what determines the rank of a Jedi because by that logic Kenobi and Skywalker would probably both be Jedi Masters in Attack of the Clones.
Still, having Anakin knighted so close to Revenge of the Sith makes it all the more ridiculous that he would whine about not being promoted to a Jedi Master. To me, Anakin getting knighted soon after Geonosis is one of the few major story changes that I think the new canon is better off for.

Darth Krayt. Didn't really enjoy Legacy.

 

I don't necessarily care for Rebels, but the story is intriguing, at least.
