What is the weather like in london/UK right now?

Me again.
Is it raining over there right now? I'm wondering, though I could look on the net, I'd rather get a real life view. I will be arriving tomorrow and I'm not sure what kind of jacket to bring.
Don't want to bring too much stuff with me like I did when I went to australia. Trying to travel as light as possible. thanks

 

The weather is wonderful.
Its been hot and Sunny all week.

Yeah, I think we are supposed to get t-storms and showers starting tonight. You might want to pack an umbrella.

 

But the weather is not always accurate.

I can see a few more days of sunshine after today, but I'm not trained in weather forecasting.

 

The London Evening Standard 5-day forecast calls for sun and a chance of showers for tomorrow-Sunday, rain Monday, and t-sstorms Tuesday, with the temperature in the 70s F.
Over here they measure temperature in Celcius. A quick conversion from C to F is to double the C figure and add 30. (So if it's 20C, double it to 40, add 30 to make 70. It's accurate to within a couple of degrees).

 

So the weather sounds pretty good. Great. I have an umbrella. I won't feel too lame wearing california summer stuff/sandles. Some people were telling me it was going to be really cold. It's been about 90F over here in california.

I was so totally unprepared, ahhh... I only brought my california outfits and had to buy a jacket in Cantebury.

 

London weather is never good when you need it to be

 

London compared to Cali must be cold though, lol. And London compared to Australia is cold, depending on where you are. I know we act like it's FREEZING here in winter, but in actual fact, it's not cold in Sydney, not really anyway. But we like to overeact to most things here.

My granma reckons that noone goes out after 4pm in London, and I'm going to prove her wrong when I get there! Who wants to help me?!

When I went to Sydney a few years back, it was during california winter weather. When I arrived, it was quite warm in Sydney. Great climate, I can handle weather like that anyday.

 

If you arrived when it was winter in California then it was probably Summer there.

No wonder the weather was good
