Eh, Vader is a monster. I mean killing kids, participating the destruction of entire planets and what every other atrocity the Empire commited.

I don't think he is misunderstood. He just happens to be a rather “likable”, and sometimes sympathetic, monster.

 

I hope he goes to convensions. Just to be that into stuff not to show it off would be... strange.

So, did anyone watch the teaser for the VR game/movie that LFL is making, "Vader Immortal" ? (sounds like gothic rock song title)



Looks cool, and the voice acting is not bad. He just sounds a tad young-ish.

It's still supposed to be canon. And David S. Goyer is still writing it.

 

Sounds amazing!! VR is something of an intriguing mystery for me, I´m afraid, but most certainly the idea to visit Lord Vader´s Castle "personally" seems like a dream come true! Would love to play it and/or know about the story. The bit about it being canon sounds particularly interesting, since it could tie in or reference other media involving Vader (the Fortress Vader arc of the comic, for instance)...

 

So, I was wondering, do you have any expectations for the new comic, Shadow of Vader? It´s five issues, coming since the current Vader comic has been confirmed to end in issue 25. It was going to be written by Chuck Wendig, but with his recent firing he only wrote up to issue 3, I believe.

It was apparently going to be a depiction of other, random characters´ perception of Vader, including Willrow Hood and the Acolytes of the Beyond. Does it sound like an interesting concept to you?

I love the contrast of Vader being this vulnerable and powerful character at the same time.

 

Fun fact: I tortured Vader’s mom and got away with it. Tuskens rule! *disappears in a sandstorm*
