    This.

Yeah, I was also kind of surprised that it hadn't come up yet.

And since the subject has now been brought up, with all due respect and my sincerest apologies to Darth Vader, I wish to state that my favorite Disney Prince is currently Loki. Fight me.

Yeah, not just the buttons. But also his cape. And his mask. And... his sword... [face_tee_hee]

The family is assembled and rules the galaxy. That would be great... [face_sigh]

One of my favourite fan fictions on the jcf was one with Leia loosing her memories in a crash and being picked up by Vader.

Cannot remember what it was called for the life of me, and it was on the ign forum so would have suffered post trunication.

I'm interested in your opinions. Do you think Obi-Wan was wrong in his judgments and actions regarding Anakin? The Order was more important to him, not friendship. At first I wanted to write this question in the Kenobi's topic, but since I can't stand him, I do nothing in his fan-club. I'm just curious, are all in this topic on the side of Anakin/Vader or not? I am completely with him from the beginning to the end.

I think he was between a rock and a hard place. On one hand he saw Anakin's talent first hand, on the other, he recognised the council's caution and Anakin's brashness.

It's a picture of Lord Vader, and that's the most important thing. [face_love]

I think Obi-Wan didn't care about Anakin, he couldn't get through to him in so many years. Because he's a blinkered Jedi who cares more about the rules than the man himself. On Mustafar, Obi-Wan was the first who activate the sword, though Anakin suggested him to leave. I wouldn't be able to attack my friend... But Anakin was not a friend to Obi-Wan, he was his pain in the ass and the object of envy. Poor Anakin... he was completely screwed...

Careful dude, double posting up a thread is generally frowned upon by mods.

Anyhoo here's my favourite Vader figure of all time. [IMG]

My apologies! The night in full swing, and I filled with enthusiasm. :D

Too bad these figures are too toy. Figurines from GentleGiant or HotToys - that's super!

[face_thinking] What's the articulation like? I'm very fussy about my Darth Vader action figures!

I am 100% on Anakin's side and always have been, ever since I saw the prequels for the first time. I've been criticized for defending Anakin, and for not liking Obi-Wan as well.
Yes, I do think Obi-Wan was wrong a lot when it came to Anakin. He always seemed to view Anakin as a burden he was saddled with because of his promise to Qui-Gon.
I also think he was very tunnel visioned when it came to the Order and only cared about following orders. If he hadn't been, he would have seen what was happening with Anakin all along.
Plus Kenobi thought only in black/white, right/wrong. There was never any grey in his belief. As an example, in ROTS he had already made up his mind that he was going to kill Anakin before he even spoke to Padme and tried to get his location from her. Even she saw it, and he basically confirmed that it was his intention.
There was never a "Well, maybe I can talk him down and make him see reason." from Kenobi in words or actions, not really. It was more like he was feeling Anakin out to see how far he had fallen to the Dark Side. In ROTJ, Vader told Luke that Obi-Wan had "thought as you do." When the only person who had believed in the good still in Anakin besides Luke was Padme. It was never Obi-Wan.
Sorry I started rambling. I've always felt very strongly about this. LOL
