Well my friend, I juuust got back from watching The Rise Of Skywalker, and I disagree. If I felt like typing more, I'd go into greater detail, but I don't so I ain't.

I also watched. Shameful fanfiction, no more. Here probably support the fact that Rey is really cool and gifted. Um... Okay, I won’t raise the topic anymore. It’s just that in our fandom we laughed at all this “creativity”. Ray no one. Like the sequels, which I hope recognize the parallel universe. The Emperor was dishonored... Oh my... @Merlyn Emerald, I understand you don't like it. I'd be careful with the Mary Sue comments, though. I don't think the mods like it.

Besides, knowing what GL wanted to do in VII - IX, I think this was great. He wanted to explore the Midichlorians more. "Star Wars: Amoeba Battle". If you think Anakin / Vader was disrespected with this, imagine if the story was that it was all because of the will of the bacteria, and he actually didn't do anything of note.

I have nothing against midichlorians. Anakin was created by the Force itself, so... The terrible thing is that the meaningful sacrifice of Vader in the sixth episode was simply considered unimportant - the Emperor was alive, not a clone, no, but he was alive by himself. And some nameless woman defeated the Emperor himself. Yeah... Midichlorians are so much better. And even better - a continuation of the Extended Universe.

I wonder which Sue is the worst, Galen Marek or Rey Palpatine Skywalker of Jakku?
I still go with the former because he actually beat Lord Vader into submission and I’m still mad about it.

I agree that Rey's abilities came out of nowhere, and that only hurt the character's journey and development.
