I know I left out a LOT of Halloween movies, mostly because I couldn't fit them all. I tried to get a mix of scary and funny. What's your favorite?
Of the list I'd probably go with "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown", though Ghostbusters is good too. I'm not a big fan of most horror movies.
That too, though that didn't come to mind. I tend to lump it more with "Hilarious Mel Brooks stuff" instead of anything scary or Halloween related. Addams Family Values is another good one that I would qualify, but that slipped my mind as well. I still haven't seen Nosferatu.
CAT PEOPLE is the more beautiful film, but GREAT PUMPKIN is first choice since it it probably the only time my father and and I spent together, that is, watching this film.
A Nightmare on Elm Street, the 1980s film, would be my all time favorite film to see for Halloween. I also enjoy Bram Stokers Dracula.
